Thank you so much everyone!0

I like to roast mine with olive oil and kosher salt but healthier is to steam them and dip them in mustard-dijon.0

Just steam them but make sure you don't overcook them. There still needs to be a little resistence in the stem. They are tasty enough not to add anything to them.0

A little EVOO, sea salt & pepper. Cook on the grill with the meat until tender. Absolutely yummy!0

I like to grill it with a drizzle of olive oil on it and then sprinkle some parmesean cheese over the top of it...TASTY!0

This time of year I eat asparagus nearly every day. I steam it and squeeze a little lemon over it.
If I have any left over I chill it and use it in a salad I concocted - (cold) Great Northern beans, tuna, asparagus, minced garlic and chopped tomato if you have it... with a little lemon juice or red wine vinegar.0 -
I normally cook my in a little olive oil with a small sprinkle of salt. simmer them to perfection!0

I use a little olive oil spray, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake on a cookie sheet for about 10 min at 400. Not only does it may your pee smell, we've come to calling it asparaGAS in my house. But it's just to yummy to resist!0

P.S. Don't forget to break the ends off. It should snap right where the "stringy" part starts.0 -
I LOVE asparagus drizzled with light balsamic, and grilled, lightly sprinkled with some parm. My favorite way to eat it, and in the summer it's a great side! Replace balsamic with lemon juice for an even lighter option! YUM! It's probably my favorite vegetable!0

I see the majority is asparagus drizzled with olive oil, garlic and pepper....this is my favorie way if not on the grill. I also dont mund eating it raw dipped in hummus.0

steam it lightly then serve dripping with butter........mmmmmm.0

Throw them in a ziploc baggie with olive oil, s&p. Give a good shake to coat. Line baking sheet with foil. Preheat oven to 425. Put them on baking sheet. Bake for 30 mins tossing a few times during cooking. (I like the flower part to be crispy)
Or I also like to do italian dressing instead of the olive oil.
Grilling them is even better IMO!0 -
Beware the "asparagus pee" the next day.
He's not kidding...it really does make your pee smell funny!
Next day, it's like the next hour for me..... It's also genetic, not everyone has that issue (read that in some random fact book I think).
Really? I guess I got the gene too, LOL!0 -

My MIL thought something was wrong with her until I brought it up one day while we were talking about asparagus. LMAO! She was going to go to the doctor about it! HA!0 -
Olive oil + garlic salt + grill = the only way I will eat asparagus. AWESOMENESS!!!
