I've bought bathroom scales, a new sports bra, a new running top, running jacket, weights, skipping rope, a yoga book, exercise dvd, and yoga trousers0
-
HRM, more gym clothes , another pair ear buds ...0
-
A 2nd HRM as a spare, a fitbit and a selection of bra-tops from Victoria Secret  Actually, I ordered a second online order from VS with a couple more bra-tops and a pair of jeans I liked... The jeans were only available in a size smaller than my usual but I told myself I'd lose enough to fit them. They should arrive in another week or so - hopefully they'll fit me by the time they arrive!0

A loaded gym bag (it's got shampoo, shower gel, a set of sweat/shower towls, a water bottle, hand sanitizer, lotion, and a combo lock)
gym shoes (30$)
a wii (200-ish?) got it on the wii fit sale.
wii games (200$)
several exercise DVDs (30$)

I think I have been using the app for about a year, but have really only been active on the site for the last 2 months or so. Since that time, I have bought:
Slim in 6 series
Brazil Butt Lift
Resistance bands
Blood pressure machine
~$500 in new work clothes and shoes (I have gone down 1-2 sizes since I stopped working full time, so my wardrobe for appropriate clothing was a little lean)
Next up will be a new food scale, as we just realized that ours died sometime around when we moved in January. I also need to invest in smaller underwear and maybe a good sports bra.0 -
HRM
Workout Clothes
Supplements
P90X2
Les Mills Pump
ASYLUM
Workout Shoes0 -
I bought new running shoes, some arm band reflectors (for running at night), and some workout gear. I only joined in January. However, I'd like to get a HRM for sure. That is my next big purchase.0
-
I bought a brand new knee so I can exercise without pain!0
-
New ASIC gels, kettlbeball, more weights, HRM, a load of fitness apps and a (yet to be used) gym membership0
-
Actually, not much yet. I already had a gym membership (that I wasn't using, ha), hand weights, food scale, etc. from previous journeys in weight loss attempts. Probably my biggest continuing expense is buying whole, organic produce... and lots of it.0
-
Since I started getting back into shape (I started before I joined MFP and became pretty active here), I've bought:
- 2 pair of running shoes (put 400+ miles on the first pair) since last June
- Several work out outfits (shorts, shirts, sports bras, wicking socks)
- GPS watch with HRM
- Recumbent bike (for when I hurt my knee and couldn't run/walk)
- Weight bench (actually a gift from work for tracking my food and exercise points)
- Lord only know how many new wardrobes (went from size 22 to 10), including smaller bras (since the ladies have decided to also lose weight)
- Several dozen songs on iTunes to put on my iPod
- 2 new pair of headphones for my iPod
- 1lb wrist weights to wear when power walking
- Truckloads of healthier foods0 -
I joined 95 days ago! I have bought:
Battery for my Polar Fitness Watch...can't live without this! Must have for everyone
Arm band for Ipod
Cold weather running gear
Hot weather running gear
Running shoes...road and trail
Running socks
Chafing cream...running can be painful!
Smoothie maker from GNC
Potein bars and powder
SMALLER Clothes!
My thought was, I wasn't going to do the gym thing this time. Going to just hit the road...that is free, right? I guess I have still spent quite a bit of money. On the bright side, I have the extra cash for all of this because my husband and I don't eat out as much any more. Cooking (healthier) at home is saving us lots of $$!0 -
Smaller workout clothes, headbands, additional Olympic weight plates, Olympic plate stand, additional dumbbells, yoga straps & blocks, an elliptical, a recumbent bike, cross training shoes, hiking boots, yoga, stretching & strength training Anatomy books.0
-
I have bought since joining MFP
- 1 pair of Under Armor running shoes
- Compression shorts ( my new best fried while running, I hate chaffing! )
- HRM
- Food Scale
- Whey Protein ( I love the taste of ALL protein shakes, weird I know )
- Healthier food!0 -
New Rules of Lifting for Women ... I ordered it last week! Can't wait to get it!0
-
Lots of exercise clothes, HRM, 2 pairs of running shoes, a ball cap with lights for night running, exercise DVD's, treadmill, and tons of healthy food.
I guess looking at all that, being healthy is expensive :ohwell:0 -
Workout shirts, shorts and tights.
HRM.
MP3 player (smartphone kept crapping out on me at the gym).
Running shoes.
Socks.
Set of free weights.
Exercise mat.
Calcium supplements.
Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM supplements.
Protein shakes.
Smaller-sized jeans. Twice.
Smaller-sized undies. Again, twice.
Body fat calipers and measuring tape.
70-oz Camelbak.
A whole shebang of foods (too many to list).
And I am nowhere near the end of this purchasing frenzy.0 -
A treadmill, HRM, healthy foods, workout clothes and 2 new pails of shoes (one for home/one for gym), and other new clothes because I'm in a size smaller! I've also spent more on making myself feel good as a reward system instead of food: hair, massage, nails, etc.0
-
Fitbit ($99)
DVDS, books, membership package to a doctor's weight loss plan ($150 - includes membership to Public TV station)
Food scale ($30)
Numerous eBooks on mindful eating, a book on "willpower," recipe books ($?)
Some cookbooks (not ebooks) ($?)
Zeo Sleep monitor ($190?)
If anyone is buying stocks anytime soon, I'm buying lots of stuff at Trader Joe's now, particularly Barbara's Cinnamon Puffins cereal (the only barley-free high-fiber cereal that I'm aware of --- I have a barley allergy)
Will be getting:
Water bottle(s)
May try Chia seeds - depends on pricing
I already owned lots of exercise DVDs and some books, a balance ball, Wii Fit, Wii Walk it Out, weights, and my parents bought me an exercise bike for my birthday.
The doc's plan is about eating fruits, veggies -- a plant-based, whole foods diet. I just like that he explains how nutrients work in our bodies and why we need them, what will help lower cholesterol and how to prevent disease. It's Dr. Joel Fuhrman's stuff. He recommends low-mercury fish if you eat fish at all. I definitely plan to eat fish and will probably be making rational choices based on what I already know and the information he provides.0 -
Fitbit, crap load of low carb products (not bad), muscle milk, digital scale (with percentage of fat, water and muscle feature) and alot of new clothes specially pants since the old ones don't fit any more.0
-
I joined in Jan. 2010, and I can't even remember all of the things I've bought ... drawers full of workout clothes, several pairs of running shoes, 2 pedometers, a HRM, a food scale, kettlebells, adjustable barbell/dumbbell, pullup/dip tower, jump ropes, a yoga mat, a foam roller ... I could go on, but you get the picture. And I won't even get into how much cash I've dropped on new clothes.0
