Something my Sergant said to me once. "Know the difference between pain and injury, pain is temporary."

I also like "That's not sweat, it's your fat cells crying" lol

    "Measure, eat, record, repeat."

And when I'm running: "The faster you run, the faster you're done" and "I run for beer."

Food wise, my motto is "Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD"
-Just because I may have the calories for a bowl of ice cream doesn't mean I should have it!

For everything else; "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence; therefore, is not an act but a habit"

    "This sucks."

Fortunately, it doesn't dissuade me. And then I get the post run glow and I start to think it's really not so bad. Sadly, about a mile into the next day's run, I'm usually reduced to "this sucks" again.

Forget those hard bodies at the gym. I'm for looking FEMININE. That's right, in shape, soft and sexy. And, curvey in all the right places in that little black dress. Mannequin's Are Us??? I don't think so.

Do it (working out) now, so do you don't regret it later!

or the one I've learned from my fiance - Pain is just weakness leaving the body!

    "Just Go"

Written on the back of my BGF's business card, it's a remindar that no matter how I feel just go do the workout. If I am feeling bad physically, I can stop after 10 minutes. But usually I feel great and, an hour later, I'm glad I didn't listen to my emotions.

I love all of these, here are some of mine.

Im healthier today, then i was yesterday.

For those complaining about not losing weight: Your getting healthier everyday, the weightloss will come.

for those complaining about losing inches and not weight: everyone sees the inches lost, your the only one that sees the number on the scale.

Those complaining about a cheat meal or day: If one meal or day messes up your progress, than your not working hard enough.
