I thought all boxes were pink?

Only the best ones. Ive settled for a light green one once cause I got a deal. It burns when I pee now.

Rule of thumb, Pink boxes and offwhite buttons.

I'm not sure what you are talking about. I have lots of boxes around the house, some are pink, some are brown, some are white. However, I never spend any discernible amount of time with any of these boxes. Maybe you could be more specific.

Okay, I no longer have a uterus, but that's because I had a "pink box" YEAR (after 13 years of already crazy stuff) but I can tell you this - you handle that time the same way you handle any other situation that causes you temptation - you exercise a little self control.

Go ahead and have some chocolate - in a sensible portion, and try to go for dark chocolate or something with nuts in it so you at least get SOME nutritional value out of it.

    Drink plenty of water.

Exercise as you are able - some women can't work through the cramps, but most find exercise beneficial.

Oh, and I have also never heard of it as being referred to as "pink box" time - I am not quite sure what is wrong with the term period, but to each their own, I guess.

I just recently had a visit and I didn't change how I ate at all. If I knew I wanted something (like-say-chocolate ice cream), then I would eat extra well at lunch time. A big salad instead of a slice of pizza or a sandwich with french fries. Then after dinner I could have my ice cream cone guilt-free because I would still be under my calorie goal for the day.

I found that I really liked doing cardio during that time. It helped with any cramping and it allowed me to eat more during the day so I could have my treats when I wanted them. And if I do want something that makes me go over a little one day, then I log everything to acknowledge it then do better the next day. My weight loss might be a little less or it might not be effected if it is only a little over.

I find that if I guilt myself over anything then I feel really bad about myself and I go back to the way I used to eat. It really helps to be honest with myself and know a little slip-up now or then won't kill me.

I am finding that the longer I eat clean and healthy, the less cravings I have. Normally I'm all about the chocolate covered pretzel, because it's both salty and chocolaty. YUM. I think the regular exercise has also helped.

This week I'm about to try and win a contest at my gym and it's also my pink box time-I love this BTW-so I can't eat any carbs really. And I'm surviving. Though I did sneak 2 chocolate covered pretzels in last night. small ones, and they were dark chocolate.

But every once in awhile, I say go for it. It's one a month, and it won't kill you! Indulge a little. LIVE!

my new favorite "binge" is the local frozen-yogurt place in town. they have a non-fat new york cheesecake flavor that is awesome!
a huge 9.2 oz. serving is like 220 calories. it makes me feel like i'm eating a treat but i still stay within my calories for the day.
