I am determined to finish the 30 days this time! I started before and completed up to day 13 and was seeing results but for some reason stopped... I am finishing the 30 days this time and am not having any rest days because this is my main focus right now. I would love to encourage others and finish this together! I need people to hold me accountable and I would love to do the same for others ONLY 30 days!

I am not doing the 30 day shred program but today is day one for me I start back to spin class tonight and my goal is to move for at least 20 minutes a day. If you would like a partner for a 30 commitment add me.

I know I will not be able to for the full 30 as I will be going out of town for the next three weekends. My goal is to do it for the next 2 weeks. Hopefully I will be able to, I sure will try.0

I really want to do this but I know if I try it in my current shape I won't make it through. I mostly ignored the quality of my food and didn't exercise until about a week ago. I figure I will give myself a month or so doing 1 hour of yoga and 30 minutes to 1 hour of cardio every day (or at least 6 days/week) to get a bit of endurance and strength before I commit to a program like this. Let me know how it goes though, and before and after pics if possible!0

Jenna I will do this with you ill make it my challenge and we can support each other BUT I go to the gym and I think it might be better on days I go to the gym that I skip it but I will work out with you for the 30 days if u want!0

Good Morning lovely ladies!!!!! today is day 2!!!! WE can do this!!!! I will be checking up on everyone on here every day! What is everyones plan? Are you going to include other cardio or workouts along with 30ds? Honest question....how does everyone feel about counting calories...ive been on mfp for a while now and lost 20 pounds with counting calories and exercise but am currently still nto at my gw because of holidays and falling off and on the wagon many times since i started a year ago... i sometimes feel like counting calories making me feel so restricted which is why i end up binging and falling off the wagon again...for me it seems like if i dont know how many calories are in something it ruins my whole day and im off on a binge! But while counting calories i was losing 2 pounds a week consistently so i am currently trying to decide what works best for me. Would love to hear everyones thoughts Good luck today!!!! PUsh hard through those 20 minutes....give it your all....its just 20 minutes!!!!!!0

Great.. I came on here looking for someone to start the Shred with. Today was my first day but count me in.
Question: How do you log your shred workout on the Exercise log?0 -
I'm so glad to have others to do this with. I just finished level 1 day 5, and I can tell a huge difference between today and days 1 and 2. Day 2 was extra hard because I was so sore, but since it has been getting easier and going faster. I took starting pics and measurements and I look forward to seeing the difference on day 30.
What size hand weights is everyone using? I've been using 3 pounds but today did part of it with 5 pounds instead.0 -

DAY 2 done!!!!!!! I am using 3 pound weights right now but on day 5 i am going to try 5 pound weights!!!! 28 more days to go!0

FYI.....If you do not own the video, you can go to Youtube.com and search 30 Day Shred Level 1 and it is on there so you can do it by usng your computer. I hook my computer up to my TV and do it. Are we suppose to do each level for 10 days?
I am not going to allow my exercise calories anymore! I have a feeling by doing this it is going to allow me to eat more than I should be eating. I am just going to stick with 1200 calories no matter what. If I see that I am not losing I will increase my calorie intake if need be, as I know that many on here does not think that 1200 calories is enough. But I am losing so it is working right now for me.
Looking forward to Day 3 in the morning. I did not do any other excercises today due to working in my hair salon for 12 hours straight standing on my feet all day and also Day 1 and Day 2 has my thighs kind of sore. But, I will mention that I have 10,000 steps on my pedometer today just from daily walking at work ....yeah!!!!

I completed Level 1 Day 3 this morning! I find it so much easier to get up 30 mins earlier than usual and do it before my shower than to do it an night, then its over and done with for the day!
And fitmamafor2, i think most people log it as around 200 cals for each level, you can manually add it as 30DS or i think its about the right cals if you use circuit training.
I am not eating my cals back from exercise as this is already included in my daily cals of 1750. I feel a lot better since upping my cals and I am actually losing weight again so lets hope the 30 DS helps even more!!0 -
I'm on Day 5, level 1, I want to die less today. That's gotta be a good thing!0
