Running...can't imagine why running one mile on the treadmills only burns 100-150 calories while my throat feels like I have a hot lava drip... :grumble:0

I pretty much hate doing all excercise but I found I have to find the pain in order to get where I want to be. I take classes at a yoga studio. They offer yoga, pilates, cycling, hot yoga, etc. I found that signing up for a class makes you commit, "without a buddy" however once you get there you have all kinds of buddies doing the class. I tried everything they offered my first month, I found things that I enjoyed and realized I wasn't participating in any cardio, mostly pilates and yoga. Now I cycle for an hour 3-4 times a week as well as the other classes. I still don't like it but I sure feel better when I am done.
I have to go before work, like 6:15, 6:30 a.m. or right after work 5:30 p.m. because if I go home, I'm in for the evening. It's just the way I am so I try to head off the obsticles before they get in the way.0 -
Push-ups make my arms, face, and probably my entire upper-torso red and make me want to cry because I suck at them so badly, even girlie push ups. I hate them!0

Yoga! Oh how I hate you! So boring lol but I will try you again if it will help get me out of this plateau. Everything else I love!

Spin class. I did it once, and cannot understand why so many people love it.
Pushups - only because I can't do them.
Prone Jackknife (NROL4W) b/c it's embarrassing as all hell to fall off the Swiss ball in the gym, even if it's not crowded.0 -

I despise any core exercises without the ball. They are boring and montanous..
Also cant stand the one where you are in a pushup, swing your legs between your feet and jump up and go reverse.. yuckola

OMG SQUATS.... It is not that I am weak or I am sore the day after... I JUST REALLY HATE THEM !!!!!! gurrr wish I could get nice legs and butt without doing them :-/0

Burpee's are the worst. Anything that makes you jump up and down and pivot at the waist - makes me want to puke....0

I hate ab exercises. As a result I hate pilates, even though I know how awesome pilates is for shaping your body. I also will get into these running kicks where I'm like, "I'm going to go for a run!" And then I run for about 7 minutes, realize that I'm bored and that running is hard, and I'll stop and walk. That happens about twice a year.0

I hate any exercise video that has complicated aerobic sequences that I can never figure out and I feel all uncoordinated and stupid because everyone on the video is all nice and in sync and my limbs are flailing every which way. Hate it!0

I kinda like v-up roll ups.... hate fifer scissors. :P
and Plyo is the one that takes me the most determination to turn on, but I feel the most accomplished when I finish it.0 -
