Restarting over with Week 4 when I got my new scale…
    Week 4 August 12 140.6 – new scale
    Week 5 August 19 138.2 (-2.4 lbs, -3 inch) (total -2.4 lbs, -4.5 inch)
    Week 6 August 26 138.6 (+.4 lbs, -1 inch) (total -2 lbs, -5.5 inch)

Up a little but that is ok, I will see a loss next week.

That is a great attitude to have.

Start Date July 15 Starting weight 185
    Week 1 July 22 185 o lost
    Week 2 July 29 187 +2mad mad mad
    Week 3 August 5 183 -2 from starting weight!drinker drinker
Week 4 August 12 184 +1 need to stop playing with the mid 180's and get into the 170's
Week 5 August 19 184....mad mad at least I am not going up
Week 6 August 26 185...up one back to where I started and getting a bit frustrated here. I need to make
sure to log everything. I was really hoping to be out of the 180's by now!

To those who have already posted glad to see so many are doing great. :flowerforyou:

I am really doing great with my working out, I just need to get my eating under control. Evenings seem to be my weak time right now. I need to get some quilt blocks going that need hand sewing so my hands are occupied when I sit down at night to watch tv...maybe that way I won't eat.

Have a great day! I have already burned 300 calories today with my morning walk. (I have been shooting for 3 workouts per day that burn 300-400 calories each)

I know what you mean about getting out of the 180's. I am finally almost there. I know you can do it. You are so right to track everything. If you put everything in in the morning, you will feel more compelled to keep to your schedule. Hang in there, it will come off sooner than you think.

Everyone has done a fantastic job over the last week. Some people have lost over 10 pounds since this thread was started. Those are amazing results. Keep up the great work everyone.

So only 20 lbs to my ideal weight, 15 to what I would be happy with. So I must be experiencing what people call the hard last 15? Argggg:grumble:

Start Date July 15 - Starting weight 140 lbs.
    Week 1 July 22 - 139.5 lbs (-.5)
    Week 2 July 29 - 137.5 lbs (-2) (-2.5 total)
Week 3 August 5 - 137.5 lbs (nothing this week)
    Week 4 August 12 - 138.5 lbs (+1) (-1.5 total)
    Week 5 August 19 - 139 lbs (+.5) (-1 total)
    Week 6 August 26 - 139 lbs (-1 total)

    Week 7
Week 23 December 23 Christmas Eve is Tomorrow!
My goal is to lose 20 lbs. by Christmas to bring me down to 120 lbs. But I'll be happy at 125 (I'm short and very small framed). If I meet my goal, I'll go shopping for myself at all the after-Christmas sales!!! I'll probably do it anyway, but I won't feel guilty about it; it will be my reward.... hmmm what should I get, maybe a smoking hot outfit for New Years Eve?

Oh, I feel your pain. We're close, but those pounds are coming off sooo slowly. I'm not sure if I should try to switch something up or just bear with it and try to shed it little by little. If you have any epiphanies let me know!

    Hi All,

Just thought I would take a break from work to say hi and I hope you are all having a good week so far.

Tonight I take my measurements and see if I've lost some more inches with the lbs I have lost this month. I only plan to measure once a month and last month I was quite pleased.

This weekend I am going to FanExpo which is like the Canadian version of ComiCon so hopefully I will have some great pictures and buy some really cool stuff.

Take care and be good to yourselves,
    Tammy

Switching things up will help wake your body up. Once your body gets use to a routine, that is when you plateau. Switch up your workouts, that will help tremendously.

    Morning everyone!!
Well, I did it!! I'm back to my pre-cruise weight as of this morning. Now to keep it off and going down!!
    By mid-Sept I SHOULD be under 200.
My friend and I are trying to lose 10lbs by Sept 27. Do you think that's do-able?

    Have a great day everyone!

I've got 16 oz in so far... Just filled up my 32 oz jug so I have plenty readily available at my desk.
I got in a 20 min aerobic workout and 15 minutes of pilates.

I'm gonna try to not drink any diet coke today, just water.

Don't worry too much about it. We all have our weeks. Chalk it up to a learning lesson. Now you know to put your food in. You will get there.

That is great that you are down to pre-cruise weight. Three cheers for you :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:
I don't see why you can't get under 200 by Sept 27th. 2 pounds a week is doable. Just make sure to stick to clean eating and exercise and you can do almost anything.

So today I sent my daughter to her first day of first grade. I am starting my new routine and hopefully will keep it up. I walk her to and from school so that is an extra 2 miles a day of exercise which I hope will get me back on track also the better routine of getting up earlier will certainly help with the eating, I hope. Lets keep up the good work and see lots of weight lost next week!

Congratulations on the first day of first grade! I hope you both did well. It can be very difficult on both the parent and the student.

Good for you for walking instead of driving!

Hi Everyone ... I have to whine a bit. I haven't been feeling very well at all this past week ... something going on in the digestive track ... ugh!!! It is pretty painful; I'm all puffy, stopped up, and bloated and I feel like there's a volcano in me. Anyway ... I just had an upper GI and will have some follow up testing done next week. So we'll see if anything shows up. My problem is that I'm a big suck when I don't feel well so I not only fell off of the wagon but I dove off head first. I have eaten all whilly nilly this week and had no exercise ... got on the scale this morning to see if I did any damage and I'm up 4 lbs just since Monday. Yowsers!!! I am feeling so angry with myself and I've got the blues now. I'm sure this will pass and I'll get back on track ... I'm just shocked at how easy it is for my body to gain and how difficult it is to lose. Sorry to vent ... but I just had to get it out.

I am checking in at 195 this week, for a loss of 5 pounds. It's mostly period and margarita bloat, but still!

I'm sorry you're not feeling well and hope you get some relief soon. I'm sure that once you get to feeling better you'll be right back on that wagon and heading in the right direction again. Don't feel to bad about the 4 pounds. I would guess that it's mostly fluid that you are retaining due to whatever is causing the volcano in your belly. I have been known to fluctuate that much just by eating to much sodium for a day or two. Some extra water seemed to flush it right out. Anyway, that's just me. I seriously hope you get to feeling better soon and back on the wagon.:flowerforyou:

Maggie I am so sorry your not feeling well. I hope you get some answers real soon as to whats up. I agree with what the pp said about your gain being caused by fluid. Try to get in that water:drinker: even if your not up to exercising. Take it easy this weekend:flowerforyou:

    Maggs, Maggs,. Maggs!!!!
Not to worry!! You will be fine. We all have times like this. Remember I gained 10lbs in ONE week on vacation. And now 2 weeks later I am smaller than I was before vacation. So have no fear. Just take care of yourself and when you feel up to it, start exercising again. I was feeling really bloated this week and was very constipated (I now TMI) so I couldn't take it any more, I bought some Correctal and took one yesterday. I feel much better today. I hope you start feeling better. Stay positive and remember we are all here for you!!!!
