Good day everyone,
I just became a member of this site this past week. I have been working at trying to lose weight and get fitter for the past while but a three month relationship that crashed and burned last week has remotivated me. Specifically, because I quite smoking five days ago and I find that by tracking my food intake and exercise that I am more motivated and will have less of a tendancy to overeat. That's a theory anyway.
I am just wanting to get healthier and happier and have come to realise that I am the only one that can do that for me so here I am. And if I can help someone else get motivated as well and make some new friends all the better.
Not sure what more to say. But thanks for reading.
Cheers

Hi - I too have quit smoking (nearly 7 weeks ago) and when I quit in 1987 I gained weight so I've been putting off quitting again. I re-took up smoking when my husband died, that's my excuse! Anyway I have gained a bit of weight over the winter and don't want to balloon again so I'm on day 3! Don't go back to smoking, you know you don't want to really!0
