Thursday Mini Challenge

Today's challenge is: Arm curls Let's see if we can do 200 of them, 100 per arm

You must do as many as you possibly can in the first set then you can break your sets down how ever you want.

You can use anything you want as weights.

You have until midnight to get them done.
You can do them all at once or break them into smaller groups. If you can't do them all then do what you can.
The important thing is that you try to do them.
Make sure you stretch and have fun doing them.
Report back when you are done and let us know how you did.

My challenges are open to anyone and you can log them as calisthenics. Also, you can modify them if you need to for medical reasons but the basic form must stay the same. In other words if we are doing a leg challenge you can't do that exercise for some reason try to make sure your alternate exercise works the legs in some way.

I should totally do this. Keep a dumbbell under my desk at work... I need to squeeze in exercise wherever I can with my schedule being as crazy as it is!!

Can I join your challenge? And do you post these sorts of challenges every day??

Any suggestions on what I can curl at work? Don't have any weights on hand.
  • Possibly stupid question - is there an easy way to follow your mini-challenge posts besides looking them up on the forum every day? Do you have a group you post them to or anything like that? I think these would be really good motivation for me but I know that I'll cheat and forget to look them up. :blushing:

    Thank you!

I bet there's something. What kind of environment do you work in? Just looking around my office, I have an electric stapler that could be used to do curls.

I work for an oilfield company in the office. I would be embarrased to ask one of the guys for something. So I'm trying to look around for something on my desk (Regular office supply stuff). I have a stapler but its a normal one. So it would be hardly any weight. Hmmmm..... Still looking around. Might wait until I get home.

Hmm...what about a ream of paper or a big bag of paperclips?

Thats a good idea. A ream of paper should do the trick. Waiting for lunch and I will get it done! Thanks!
  • For keeping up with the challenges, I just sent him a friend request. I'm hoping he has his account set to post on the feed whenever he starts a new topic! Figured that would be an easy way to keep up and not miss them!!
  • Nurr, I didn't even think about that. Forgot that people's topics show on the feed.

    Thanks!
