What to put on my waffle?

I'd been putting a couple tablespoons of PB on my Van's Light Natural waffle, along with a few banana slices. But I did notice that little bit of PB sure makes my fat and cals add up quick. And the earlier PB post got me thinking about it too. Any good suggestions of what else to put on a morning waffle? Not cottage cheese, someone suggested that to me and it just doesn't sound good.

I use one tablespoon of 100% pure maple syrup (not the fake corn syrup stuff). 52 calories and delicious!0

Blueberries! (any berries for that matter)0

I put low sugar jelly on mine. It is only 25 calories. I have to stay away from PB. However when I do the PB and banana on my waffle. I add a drizzle of honey.0

I love this soo much - I microwave a few tablespoons of natural strawberry jelly and then pour on my waffle... SO good and far less cals than pb!! You could also try PB2 if you miss your peanut butter0

You can put jelly on it!0

Slice a small apple, microwave for 1 min with 1 tsp of lemon juice, cinnamon, sweetener (I use splenda - 1 tsp) and 1 tsp of canola oil
Pour this over your waffles and top with vanilla greek yogurt
It's like a small, filling apple pie!0 -
I always make a quick skillet jam. Take about a half cup of fresh fruit and add a teaspoon of brown sugar, a little water, then Stevia to taste. Simmer for about ten minutes until it's the consistency of preserves. Works great with blueberries and strawberries, even bananas and apples.0

If you want a slightly healthier option than fried chicken  I just use fruit.
I always have frozen berries, blueberries, raspberries etc on hand at home. I just microwave a handful and add some sweetner and smush them with a fork, a bit like a berry compote if ya wanna get all fancy but without the copius amount of sugar and calories! Or you might want to use a natural no added sugar jam, same sort of thing really.0 -
I like some warm applesauce on my waffles, french toast or even pancakes...Nom:)0

Oh, I dunno...
A little bit of maple syrup? Ice cream covered with maple syrup? Yeah...then like add chocolate syrup, then caramel syrup...Is there strawberry syrup too? That too if there is. ANNNNNNND the waffles need to be chocolate chip ones!0 -
I buy E.D. smith no sugar added pancake syrup. 3 tablespoons has 30 calories and 6 grams of sugar and it's delish!0
