Thin but curvy... slight hourglass shape. Small boobs but a bigger butt. (not huge) I don't know, I don't really have a term to describe my body.

Reading the other thread gave me a headache :grumble: , I couldn't even go pass the second page  ...But I "use" to describe my body type as hourglass but yea I don't think so anymore..I think since I have gained weight, I have become more of a pear shaped.

that other thread was awful...I get upset when ppl start saying thin ppl can't have curves, and I also hate the negativity toward bigger ppl as well. Why can't we (all being on a fitness website) try to accept the individual shapes ppl are trying to embrace--as long as they are healthy?:) Be positive is all.

Well my measurements are 40-30-41 and I'm very proportionate, but I tend to gain most of my weight in my thighs/hips. So I guess I'd consider myself hourglass.

I'm a pear. If I got down to the weight people normally want for my body type (120) I would be skeletal on top. As it is, I'm a small on top and still a size 6-8 on bottom. I have trouble losing from my thighs.

I describe myself as "plus-sized", because to me, that makes a lot of sense. It means that when I buy clothing, I don't get the Small, Medium, or Large; I get the clothes with the X- at the beginning. Meaning: they are not regular sizes, but PLUS sizes.
It's hard to define "thick" and "curvy", since those are pretty subjective, so I usually skip those :)

However, as far as shape goes, I don't really know if I'm hourglass or pear.. I have wide hips, curvaceous thighs, and a booty; my waist is smaller, and then my shoulders are broad. I swear, I have football-player shoulders... >:( BUT I have small breasts..... So that kind of ruins the hourglass figure for me..

I'm an hourglass at 38-26-37 (Chest Waist Hips). I have visible muscle tone and a relatively low BF%. I am 5'10"

I would call myself tall, strong, and curvy.

I exhibit qualities of all 4 body types. My hip to waist ratio (0.8) indicates apple shaped. But my hips measure slightly wider than my chest, like pear shape, but only by half an inch, so possibly hour glass. Except my waist is only 8 inches smaller than my hips, which suggests banana shape.

Just call me voluptuous, and we'll get along famously.

 I am a delicate petite flower. in my mind...in real life I am curvy and muscular. At my goal weight I would say my build is athletic with hips. ALWAYS a ten inch difference between hips and waist.

    Bulky working on de bulking.

I am a pear. But since I started doing strength training my shoulders are getting wider and making my hips appear more proportionate

I used to be an apple shape - big all over, but definitely all stored in the middle.

Now? Hard to say. Whilst there's leftover excess skin on my stomach, that's not the same as carrying the weight there. I would love to be an hourglass, but my ratios simply aren't extreme enough.

I suppose it would have to be 'athletic' - whilst I have sizeable boobs, I'm not especially hippy and I have muscular legs, bum and arms. So athletic-in-progress, I suppose :)

I'm an over weight Mesomorph, even at my biggest my shoulders and chest have always been wider that my stomach or hips.

I am a mesomorph, all be it an over weight one. I also have the classic hour glass shape, when in shape. My waist disappears but my hips and boobs remain.

At 5'1" and 37-24-35, I guess I'm an hourglass - little on the top-heavy side, but not too disproportionate.

I consider myself to be fit, but not quite there yet! Still a bit too much on the "cuddly" side.
