My mother always described me as "solid"....which I can agree with I suppose. Is "solid" a shape? Eh...maybe not.

I merely describe it as "mine" because no one has the same body as me...

My dad calls my body type "fat"

My mom calls my body type "okay just the way you are"

I think I prefer mine

I think I need a hands on evaluation to describe your body type.

May I cite an old Commodores' song?

    "She's a brick----house
She's the one, the only one,
    who's built like a amazon"

At least, that's according to my husband. He sings or hums it every time he comes into the room when I'm working out. He's sweet.

However, I would describe my body as fit, but showing average wear and tear for a 40 year old woman. Overall, I'm happy with my body. I'm strong, have good muscle tone and nice proportions (probably hourglass is the most accurate, because I am not a pear, apple or ruler) - but I also have scars, a few spider veins and stretch marks.

For me....When someone asks me I used to say 'thick'....I hate 'pleasantly plump' or 'chubby' - I have been called both in my younger days....Hated it....

Another good one is 'Full-Figured' b/c that is what I am....Once I lose my weight I will be curvy b/c I have an hourglass figure which I love - When I am smaller anyways... :)

definitely pear, very full hips and thighs and full breasted, but shoulders and waist tend to be small. Almost an hourglass :(, rather be a curvy hourglass anyday rather than a pear. lol
