Large Fuji apples are my favorite0

I dunno the name of all the different apples. I just like the standard red apples that're fairly large. Whatever those're called, they're my favorite.0

My co-worker had a Kiku apple and said it was the best apple she had ever eaten ever. I think it must have a really short ripe time (like the Mackinaw peaches on "Seinfeld"), because I went to the same store where she bought it a few weeks later, and they were gone. I have yet to try to best apple ever!0

Honeycrisp or Braeburn!0

As far as grocery store apples go, I'd say Honeycrisp or Jazz. I like a really crisp, snappy, tart and sweet apple. I can't stand it when they're mealy and insipid. If you want a apple that is really ballparks beyond the average fruit, go to an apple orchard in September and October and pick your own off the tree. Of course a freshly picked Honeycrisp is super, but if you get a chance try a Song of September. Oh my. Apple love.0

I had a Pink Lady today and it was wonderful! I also like Gala & Fuji apples. I use to like Granny Smith the best, but it always seems like the skins are so tough. Today I'd say that Pink Lady wins!!0

After reading this I must try Honeycrisp. (Have never seen Kiku available). All the others I have tried and they come in behind my favorite stand by... Red Delicious! I have at least one a day!0
