I walked 4.75 hours today...started at 10am. I did stop about 4 times for a short break ((my shins were starting to hurt)) and to catch my breath...but other than that I was a walking nut! :laugh: I walked a total of 11.54 miles, and burned 1,078 calories today from that walk. I also work my 12 hour shift tonight...and I'm going in with no nap. :ohwell: But I can't help that...I had to cook dinner for the kids and now I have to run my daughter to my mothers. That happens like that sometimes...I will sleep real good for sure when I get off from work.
Holy moley that is quite the walk. I applaud you for being able to just keep going and going. I think I would eventually get bored and head home, unless I had something really pretty to look at it.0 -

Walking is so very peaceful for me. And the park I go to is very pretty! It has like an "enchanted" forest part that you go through and it is sooooo pretty! It has benches you can sit at and relax too. It's all covered in camera's also..so I feel safe.0 -

Okay, so I'm putting this here for reference when I weigh-in tomorrow.
-To maintain, I would need to eat roughly 16,800 calories a week.
-This week, I have eaten 14,677 calories and burned another 1,682.
-This means a deficit of 3805 calories, which SHOULD mean I've lost a tiny bit more than a pound.

I'm getting really tired of seeing 166 on the scale. =/ I am very happy its 166 and not 172 which was the last weight i was stuck at for months and months and months before I gave up and just ate whatever I wanted. I have stopped working out and wont be starting again until May 15th (I have a million and one things to do and its just kinda all getting to me now) and after that I will be doing the Turbo Fire program the whole way thru, I'm so looking forward to it!!!0 -

I have been very frustrated because the scale has barely moved, I am not giving up.!!! But darn I wanted to see the 160s!
I did get weighed and measured at the gym, and my LBM has increased, and my fat has decreased by over 5 lbs. So sometimes it isn't all about the scale!
I am trying the Olivia method, and will keep trying it for another week or two.
Congrats to those who lost!
Good job to those who are sticking it out!

Last week I upped my calories intake. When I look at this results I start thinking if I did right. :sad:
It's true it was only from 1220 to 1300, and that i feel my legs much better, 'cause Jillian exercises were killing me, but I can't avoid being a little "down". Yes, I already lost a total of 13inches...but i gained weight :ohwell:
Next week will be "that time of the month week" so I don't wait for great results as I gain lots of water weight.
Losing weight it's not easy, but I won't give up. :blushing:

This was a sad weigh in, the scale was flickering between 184 and 185 but settled on 185 (how I wish I had more accurate scales). I was so good this week until Friday night when the bf and I went out for drinks with a few friends, it just shows how much alcohol can affect you. I spent all of Saturday drinking water and now I feel like a bloated cow. Instead of feeling sad and discouraged I'm going to look at my comparison photos from 40lbs ago (I did a collage to help me think positively for this weeks challenge) and be encouraged by how far I've come Good luck guys!
I'm seeing some great losses this week and wow @Crysbutcher3 that is one great walk, I bet you feel amazing for it
@Tatyanne I upped my calories from 1200 to 1800 and I dropped 3lbs, maybe try eating more again, you're probably holding onto water weight which the body can sometimes do at first. I also gain during TOM I just weigh a few days before to avoid the scales in that time0 -

I had a TERRIBLE week this week. I could not get it together and stay on track and kept giving in to baked goods that my coworkers brought in. In addition, the weather was pretty lousy and I did not get outside to run as much as I wanted. All things considered, I'm actually happy to only see a .2lb gain, because I thought it would be SO much worse. That being said, I went grocery shopping yesterday and bought a whole bunch of healthy food, AND woke up early enough to get a quick workout in before work, so I'd like to think I'm back on track!0 -
