Well I'm still back in the 90's so when I work out to my dvd's I just put the cd player on in the background. What makes me really work my booty off:

    Missy Elliot- work it
Pink - you make me sick
    GnR- welcome to the jungle
    Sugarland-*kitten* and elbows (don't think that's what it's called)
    black eyed peas-my humps
    Flo Rida-low
    Lynard Skynard-sweet home Alabama
    Steve Miller band-dance dance dance
    Sweet- ballroom blitz
    Nirvana-smeels like teen spirit
    Micheal Jackson-Billy Jean

Anyway you get the picture, anything fast!!!

I tend to favor classic rock more because when I was growing up, everyone listened to rap and hip hop, and the few who didn't listened to country. I wanted to be different....back then people made fun of me but now everyone says I have great taste in music:smokin:

    Miley Cyrus: See you Again
    Britney: Gimme More
Rihanna: Please Don't Stop the Music
    Timbaland: The Way I Are
    Kanye: Stronger

I have these too! The funny thing is, I don't listen to this kind of pop normally, but it is so nice to walk to a good dance beat!

I have two playlists that are quite large and put on shuffle so I get a variety. I have one called "Grunt" for doing cardio and the other called "Lift" for strength work. Grunt kicks it - Right now the Teddybears are on hard rotation.... awesome workout music also Wyclef's latest album. A bit of Fergie, Gwen Stefanie, Madonna, Tragically Hip, Barenaked Ladies, Iggy Pop, New Pornographers, White Stripes. "Lift" has slightly slower stuff... I find if the music goes to fast while doing weights I push too quickly and don't get a good 'squeeze"..

mine too actually he was like her first crush! but since he hasn't been around for awhile she has moved on to the jo bros! fair warning though if you have not seen his new video (which to me is good!) you may want to preview it before showing your daughter. it's not bad, but i don't know what kind of stuff you want her to see(if she like mine she's 7 going on 17! ) but he does some kissing and the girl in it is in a shirt and underwear(i told mine it was a bathing suit! ) --cheyenne

This will make you laugh...but I find hard rock bordering on metal really gets me through a strength training session....maybe its the attitude or the anger Iunno...so its like Linkin Park, Nickleback (cos I really like em),some Zepp, ZZtop, a lil Ozzy, PINK and ok...I do have one or two Marilyn Manson, Kid Rock and some Eminem... I like to walk to Evanescence, Amanda Marshall, KWS and maybe some Keith Urban..depends on the mood I guess.

I regard myself as a music-schizo because of all the different genres I listen to...OPERA is definitely a no go!

I could never be bored with music...laughs...
