Hey, I'm a spoon, too! Whenever I see articles about shopping for your shape, I usually go with the straight body type even though it isn't totally right on. Thought I just had a weird body. Glad to know there are other utensils - I mean spoons - out there! LOL

I just entered my "real" measurements instead of my guess yesterday... I'm a spoon!

I'm not either of those - I'm self-classifying myself as Potato shaped

My body type is "unavailable" I guess I'm an extreme something that's not calculatable. More than likely a pear, but my measurements are 38-28-40. I tend to gain weight all over, but in my back end first.

Those measurements seem like you are hourglass. Weird it said unavailable!

I was feeling the exact same way! My body type just didn't quite fit into any catergory. I am a spoon for sure.

I am working on getting my mid section a bit trimmer... any food tips? work out tips? Did you have to go crazy on the ab/back workouts to trim down you middle section?

    Thanks! :)

It's good know I'm not alone!

I'm a spoon for sure. I get very shelf-like hips. For a while I was all roll but I'vel ost some and now my waist is clearly defined and then BAM hips. There's like...9in of a difference haha

So is a spoon shape just a pear shape with skinnier legs? These differences are too subtle for my male brain to process.

that and the waist gets rounder higher up than in the pear.

    really, they are extremely similar.

Oh my goodness, this post has made me so happy! I've just found out that I'm a spoon as well, and have also always had problems identifying a body type! Now I feel normal, and the photos from the first post have given me a lot of hope! :D
