Homemade Protein Bars

Easiest ever!
2 C. rolled oats ( I like to use 1C quick and 1C old fashioned)
1/2 C natural peanut butter
4 scoops vanilla protein powder
1T. ground flaxseed
1/2 C. water
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and press into a casserole dish (8x8 or 9x9)
Freeze for about 30 minutes
I cut them into 16 squares and they have roughly 140 calories and 8 g protein. The bigger you cut the more calories you will get. Enter this into your recipe and put how many servings to get your own nutrition value.
**you can add raisins or other dry fruit, a friend of mine adds mini choc chips**0 -

Bumping for carrot cake protein bar. Sounds fab! X0

Made the carrot ones and they were terrible, even after cooling down! Might have been ok with unflavoured protein, but they were really really bad tasting even though they looked good. Sorry! X0
