    I meant there is no debate as in there is no debate on gay marriage, just some people with very scary ideas on how other people should live.

    I am your typical Okie redneck. I love my guns, I think people should get off their *kitten* and work and stop looking for handouts, I think government should only provide essential services and leave the rest to the private sector, who should be allowed to make as much money as they please. I think if you don't like it, start your own business. But, I feel like if you tell someone they can't marry (yes, marry, not civil union, etc...) then it is just like when we classified blacks as property. IT IS WRONG! It is just as wrong as not letting women vote. Hell, let the gays marry and be as miserable as the rest of us married folks. Let them put their partner on their insurance and let them pass it on to them in a will, just like I will pass on stuff to my wife. I learned a long time ago not to be afraid of gay men, as it means more *kitty kat* for me. :bigsmile: I also say I am all for gay porn as long as it is hawt woman on hawt woman. :bigsmile: Besides, the USA was founded on separation of church and state so religous vies on the matter have no place in the debate since this is an issue of civil liberties.

    Ugh, I typed this whole long post in response to the "debate" and then it must of got locked before I could get it in. And now I have to work. I will def check into the new area later though.

    Oh so you don't like the genocide in Darfur, Rwanda, or any other country? Tell me how that directly affects your life.

    Just because it doesn't directly affect your life, doesn't mean it is okay. And that's all I have to say about that. :)
