    Dang meetings - they had boxes and boxes the Costco Chocolate Chip cookies!!!!! I took just 1 - and now just can't decide if it's worth the calories!! BTW it's 210 calories for one stinking cookie!!!! :grumble:

    Cripes!!! you could wait and have a 5-ounce glass of Merlot and 16 Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate chips for that kinda "calorie money".

    THROW IT AWAY!!! Spend your empty calories on something that you'll enjoy longer.

    Eat 1/2 with a cup of tea or whatever you like to drink. You get the cookie craving out of the way but don't consume as much calories!

    You can do it! There was cheesecake in my office today. I walked over to the table, looked at how good it looked, thought about how good it would taste, and then walked away enjoying the feeling of thinking about it and walking away.

    Nope I sure cannot talk you out of it. If I were you I would have eaten that cookie and then drank some coffee :) Not that I do this often but when I do it gets me super haywired (weeeee)and its a great jolt before a work out as long as it fits in your daily cals of course lol.

    You dont need it you want it I have learned if i want a sweet then to take 1 small bite and throw the rest away, so that way its in the trash you wont eat that and your satisfied now. Helps everytime

    But if you really wanted that cookie eating one would not make or break your diet for that day or even overall and you would enjoy it which variety can be the spice of life. Every thing in moderation.

    Well, sure. But if you want it? Go to the gym for another 15 minutes. There's your cookie. Or, you know what? Don't. If everything else is on for your day, you will likely still be under maintenance. So you will still be losing.

    I just dipped 5 Hershey chocolate kisses into a tablespoon of peanut butter. Heavenly! :smile: I say "go for it". Just record it, though. Moderation in all things!

    Maybe just eat half of it? That's what I would do. If I want something, I'll just eat it (or part of it)... you shouldn't deprive yourself. :)

    throw down that cookie and make THESE. they are the absolute BEST at hittin that sweet chocolate spot.

    get one box of philsbury moist supreme sugar free devil's food chocolate cake mix
    get one can of coke zero
    get one bag of nestle dark chocolate chips

    preheat your oven to 325. mix the above and take 1/4 cup of batter into 24 reg sized muffin tins. bake for about 18 minutes. The result is a moist chocolatey cupcake for like 130 calories and like 5 grams of sugar. AMAZING.

    Don't do it. If you really really want it, just take one bite and throw it away. It's seriously not worth it. I'm always thinking after the first bite how it's SO not worth it. Just more cals to burn.
  • throw down that cookie and make THESE. they are the absolute BEST at hittin that sweet chocolate spot.

    get one box of philsbury moist supreme sugar free devil's food chocolate cake mix
    get one can of coke zero
    get one bag of nestle dark chocolate chips

    preheat your oven to 325. mix the above and take 1/4 cup of batter into 24 reg sized muffin tins. bake for about 18 minutes. The result is a moist chocolatey cupcake for like 130 calories and like 5 grams of sugar. AMAZING.

    If you decide you want a cookie, you can go out and buy a really nice one from a bakery. You don't have to eat food just because it's there.

    This was a great thing to learn. Why waste the calories on some ****ty off brand cookie when you could endulge, treat and ENJOY something of way better quality????

    One cookie will not be your downfall if you do decide to eat it, but what is more important is that you are CONSCIOUSLY eating it and weighing the cost/benefit before you do.
    It is okay to have a cookie from time to time, but you have to do it knowing what the cost will be to achieving your overall goal. If you are willing to do the work to off-set that cookie - have at it! But if you are eating it "because it is there" or out of emotion - step away from the cookie and do not allow it to have that kind of control over you!

    You are stronger than the cookie!! lol!
