Well I have to say, not to be negative, but I am only down 11 lbs in 10 weeks. I should be losing 2 lbs a week! I know I will get there, I just wish it was less daunting.

Hello all. Great job this week everyone. Congrats to those who lost this week. I am so glad to see everyone in this group has such a positive attitude. I did a good job with my exercise this week. I worked out about 4 or 5 time during the past week. This is a huge accomplishment for me since I have had a lot of trouble with motivating myself to workout. I also started the Couch 2 5k program this week. I realized that I am not in good enough shape to follow the program as it is laid out. It will probably take me about 2 or 3 prelimenary weeks before I am ready to start the following the program to the letter. I have also committed to do a race on November 20 with my mom and a family friend. Anyway, I lost a pound in the past week, but I am going to need to step it up a bit if I am going to make my goal weight. I am aiming to lose 2 pounds by next week to play a bit of catch up.

On the C5K, I would do it how it is laid out, but just do week 1 for a couple of weeks then go to week 2 and do that week a couple of times and so on. I would not modify it. It is like any other program, they lay it out that way because it works. That is great that you are doing it. I am currently on week 6 and am really excited about my results so far. Since I have started, I have been slowly lossing a pound a week. You can do it and if you have any questions, just ask. :bigsmile:0 -

You might need to get more strict with your food choices. I know it is hard, but you can do it. Also, you might switch up your workouts a little. Your body might be needing a change from the normal. :bigsmile:0 -

Week 5 August 19 – 293.8 -2.2 Yeah! I didn’t blow it on my camping trip last weekend.
Week 6 August 26 – 292.3 -1.5 Woo hoo! Might make it to my goal next week! I sure hope so! Total of 10.7 lost since we started.

Hi my friends ... my goodness, I feel like I've been neglecting everyone and everything. As you can see by the new profile picture ... renovations have taken over all of my spare time. It's a crazy amount of work that I want done. It will be well worth it in the long run ... I wish I was rich ... then I'd hire some young strapping men with names like Sven, Raphael, or Carlos to do the work. I'd be taking way more pictures then I do now if that happened. LOL

I have been terrible w/my eating this weekend so I'm sure I will have a gain on Weds :sad:
but I am will be back on track tomorrow.
We were taken out to dinner by some friends on Friday night (mexican food) then today we were invited to dinner at other friends house for homemade Lasagna(msp). But it was sooooo good and helped get my mind off the current problems. I will be good from here on out!

Magglet you never get that lucky with the help you hire. I had someone in a few days ago to restretch a carpet. Not the best body but the worst was the view when he bent over to work on the carpet....not sure of his name but not the Carlos of your dreams!
Oh yeah ... we had this guy who use to come and service our old furnace ... I called him Mr. Butt-Crack. LOL0
