      Thanks everyone for the congrats! Its been an emotional road, but I don't know anyone who can't say it hasn't! I wish the same success for everyone else!!! Good luck to you all!!!

      hey everyone.....I haven't been the most active on here lately, between work, toddler, and surgery...But I wanted to check in. Back in Jan, I started my diet, counting calories, etc...at 5'9 I was almost 178 lbs. I joined my fitness pal, and now, mid May, I've reached my goal. As of today, I weigh 133 lbs and for the first time in years, I feel good about me! Its almost a good 45 lbs weight loss!

      I wanna thank the friends that I've made on here (although few), your daily support, with my weigh ins was so appreciated! Its all about maintaining what I have accomplished now.


      I attached a photo of me, in a pair of pants, that were tight on me New Years Eve this past Dec/Jan. This photo was taken a few weeks ago, and I've lost more weight since then, but you get the idea. I wish all of you the success and happiness that I now have =)

      Second... what was the final step you did that got you there? I understand you don't want any arguments on your celebratory post but I've got 51 gone and have 14 to go.

I don't think I would be an inspiration per say, but if my reaching my goal encourages you to continue your journey, I'm happy I can help make you one day closer to being happy with your body, healthy, and self esteem that no one in the world can give you but you and your self confidence. You ALL will hit your goal. We all have a starting out point and what works for some, doesn't work for everyone.

      I am proud! And you know something, so was my family...at first. There are a lot of people with the "jealous gene" that tell you uou have a problem, or you're not eating enough....as if they want you to fail. They want to see you as your old self, so they can feel better about how they look.

      But it took me a bit to get here, and I'm basking in the success. I'm excited for the summer even though ill have to work more for the money to buy new clothes....bitter sweet with that part lol
