This is what my PT has me doing. Three sessions of intervals per week plus my weight training. Beats the heck out of doing long cardio sessions 5 or 6 times a week.

    bump...

I started mixing up my running workouts with speedwork and hill repeats after the first couple months when I started working with a running group, our coach has us do different workouts every week...it really helped! I just need to get back on track with strength training...

Thanks for sharing, I have been trying to increase my overall time and doing some sprints but will do more knowing that it may help shrink my tummy!

this goes for all levels of aerobics. As your lungs and heart improve stamina to support, you have to train harder. This is where weight conditioning aides. As you build muscle, dont be afraid of that statement, you will continue to burn fat faster.

But remember, the key to being healthier overall starts in the kitchen.

Love my sprints and hill runs. Makes such a difference to overall speed, strength and endurance. I'm aiming for 10kms in 50 mins in August.
