Guys : Tattoos and Piercings on women?

I have 5 tattoos (all where I can hide them when need be) and 2 chest dermals and my nose pierced. My husband and I love them!0

i think tats depend on the person rockin them. i got several but they can be covered if needed. me personally on a chick sleeves or full body tats usually dont look good. and piercing im not a fan- but on some women it is hot and sexy again depends on the girl her body and etc.
now on men- yea tats are sexy esp sleeves but i dont dig piercing on men with the exception of a nice body with nipple rings0 -
I have 3 tats and I don't care what guys think of them... in fact, I'm pretty sure even my husband wishes I didn't have at least 1 of the 3 I have, but they reflect who I was at a particular time. I don't necessarily regret them and I can hide them easily - most people don't know I have one, let alone 3! - but maybe when I'm old I will. I had my tongue pierced and had to take it out for the birth of my almost 2 year old son and I chose not to put it back because I thought it was inappropriate to have a newborn baby and a tongue piercing. I really regret that though. I think it's a personality thing. If it suits you to have a bunch of tats and piercings, you'll find a guy who digs the tats and piercings. And if you're married, your guy will find a way to deal with your stuff even if he's not a huge fan of it0

Many tattoos and piercings over the years my husband liked some more than others. Still have a few it's no one's business but ours . I was always "the wild one" and he was always perceived as the straight laced type. We balance each other...Cheers to Whatever floats your boat that's what makes our life great!0

It's all personal preference. I'm fine with some tattoos. No full sleeves or really over the top tats, or anything across the chest. A woman's chest is perfectly designed already, don't go messing with it.
As for piercings, ears and belly button rings are nice but I'm not a fan of much more than that. I do like some small nose piercings and tongue studs can look good on the right woman.
Again, each guy is going to have different preferences.0 -
Ok so not to hijack the post but I figured this would be a good place for some feedback...
I have a large tattoo on the back of my lower arm. I've been toying with the idea of getting a full lower arm sleeve, just elbow to wrist, all in b&w. BUT I also like the subtlety of how it is now and that it's kind of a surprise since you can't see it at all from my front or sides. Wondering what you guys think- leave it be or add to it? I also have a small one on my shoulder, not sure if it figures into the equation.

Ear piercings I like...unless there's more metal than their is ear...that's kind of weird...a small nose ring is nice...a belly button piercing is okay, if the girl has the stomach for it...that's about it...nipple and genital piercings freak me out.
As far as ink goes...I like it...something on the ankle, back, leg, arm...sleeves and full back pieces kind of turn me off, but a few tats are nice.0 -
i have an eyebrow and nose piercing - and I do not believe that it retracts too much from my face - so yes, I would think it's totally unique to the person. :-)0

I am not a guy but I wanna respond. I have 2 tattoos. The first one I got is on the back on my neck it's rather small cause well it was my first. I got it a few months after my divorce from my ex husband was final. It's a japanese symbol meaning serenity. I got my second one a year later on my left wrist it's another japanese symbol meaning heaven in honor of all my family members and friends that have passed away. I don't regret getting these at all. They are apart of me and my life. I want 2 more. One for my momma which will be a big blooming rose and angel wings with my 2 nephew's birthdays underneath. I also have my ears and nose pierced too, I love it and like I said earlier no regrets.0

I don't like piercing on guys. It looks good only on women. And talking about tattoo, it looks great on both girls and boys.0
-
I'll go with yes on both, as long as it's not overkill. Me personally, i like girls/women that have a nose stud, with some colorful ink to accompany it.0

Dangerous topic! Bound to offend someone!. Personally I like ink on women, but it depends on if it "works" or not. Ultimately a tattoo is a personal thing, so it does not really matter who likes it and who doesn't, but for me there are certain tatttoos I find attractive on women and some that I don't.
I just don't dig the whole sleeve thing - guess its my age bracket but It's like too much - I still associate it with carnival side shows. I like women who have beautiful colorful or meaningful ink on their shoulder blades, shoulders and back of neck - I think that is really sexy - especially if it is like Asian or floral in design - very feminine and sexy - they can show it off at the beach or in a tank top, but then if we have to go somewhere more formal, it's not like "too much".
Piercings - yeah not so much. I especially don't dig those big black donut things that stretch out the ear lobes - I just really don't get the appeal of that at all to the wearer or the observer... but again I think it is an age thing - alot of the youngsters seem to dig them.0 -
Yes & Yes, except for women/men who have gauge errings...I hate that with a passion lolOk so not to hijack the post but I figured this would be a good place for some feedback...

You should only do it if that's really what YOU want...My opinion is it would look good, I think colour looks good on women though haha0 -
Love them! Just got tattoo #3 yesterday for losing 40 pounds. To each his/her own!0
-
Love em' tasteful tattoos and any piercing on women make me go into heavy petting mode! Tastefull as in : not having your face tattooed completely..... or a giant pile of steaming dung on your back!0

Go for it love! Would look awesome!0 -
Hmmm....well, I have 1/2 sleeves, a leg piece, a full back piece, both feet, as well as numerous other tattoos and I have yet to have anybody (male or female) tell me they were "too much", "ugly", or anything else derogative. In fact, I get compliments on my ink ALL THE TIME (even on MFP). So...yea, I think tats are hot on women, as long as they're well done.0
-
i think a few is sexy but when you end up with your whole body marked up that can be a turn off0
-
Massive fan of tats/ piercings/ mods on both sexes. Though it really depends on whether they suit the wearer; am sure we've all seen some trash as well as treasure. Been out with guys who have been pro, con and ambiguous about it - but it's not really their choice, is it
Aside: An ex once told me he hated such things, and asked me to remove all my piercings. I removed him from my life fairly sharpish...0 -

Thats why your my friend.... your work was not done by a cracked out junkie trying to get a fix... they look good! ...And you just ****in rock!0 -
I actually prefer the natural look. Too many or really big tats are a little bit of a turnoff for me. I think the female body is beautiful and prefer it to not be covered up with ink. I appreciate good art but would rather have it on a wall. Not a big fan of weird piercings either, I don't really get the point and I think it makes people look silly.0

Yes. Yes. And HELL YES.

As much as I like tattoo's on women, I must say you can go overboard, the face tattoo kills me with Kat and I think she looks better without them.

Gotta concur - wow that is really amazing0 -
my wife has her nose pierced on the side and multiple pearcings in her ears. I love them. Wish she had a tattoo, but as of yet she does not.0

I have 2--and don't really care of guys like them or not. They were for me not them.
However, I've never been told they look trashy (one is on my ankle and the other is on ribs) and most people don't even notice the one on my ankle actually. Just keep it tasteful.0 -
No piercings..its a major turn off for me however as long as the tattoo is decent I don't mind.0
