    Listen, IT guys are geeks and like geeky things. After you send him the note and he passes it back and has circled the answer you want, just buy him a duct tape wallet or lego and he'll be yours forever and ever.

    Funny, I'm going through the same thing right now. I know she had a boyfriend, but she was acting friendly. Tried not to read much into it, but I asked her out to lunch, and without missing a beat she said sure. Still, it's at work and people eat lunch all the time with each other. Lol. So, I gotta play it easy and see where it goes. Could be nothing, or could be exciting. :-).

    There's always the "have a couple of drinks to build courage and then ask" strategy.

    It doesn't always go down well though...I did exactly this to a mate of my brother's....it went like this:

    Me: I think you're cute. Are you single?
    Him: Thank you....and no, there's my girlfriend (points to gf).
    Me: Right. Ok then.

    *slunk away in shame*
