see now you just made me want cheetos.. lol

that is one thing that always ticks me off with people I work with.. they get so down on them selves for going over their calorie goals that they have set for themselves.. I tell them time and time again to not worry about it, it is actually ok to go over your calorie goals every now and then, you want to keep your body guessing and working for you... then I get the "well you don't have to worry about it, your in great shape" .. think I will just keep my mouth shut from now on and just walk away from them.... very aggrivating..

I was just thinking about this the other day. Basically since high school graduation, 16 years ago, I weigh 14 pounds more than I did at that time. I thought about it, and really, that is not that bad!!!!!! I only ate an average of 3,500 calories a YEAR over what I needed to be where I am at today. I am not a Failure afterall! How about that!

This is awesome!! I always say it is how we think that can really make or break a diet/exercise program. We have to keep looking at the bigger picture.

Wow, thank you so very much for posting this. I thought I did the unforgivable last night when I had 1/2 cup of ice cream. Now I don't feel so bad. I guess we can indulge a little without killing ourselves. Again thanks you so very much for this, you made my day.

thanks so much- great perspective! I think i'm going to print this one and put it on my fridge too - especially the "drink some water and go for a walk" part....
