May Drink More Water Challenge

I only started MFP a few days ago. Mid last year I was a super water buff, I had water with me every where! Going out to town? A bottle of water! Going shopping? A bottle of water! Going to the park with my niece? A bottle of freaking water! Heck yeah! But since I started back up at uni I swapped my water for Lipton Iced Tea and I spent almost $22 a fortnight on that drink!
I've started trying to get back into the habit of drinking water and the way that I've done this is carry a pump bottle! We have a water cooler at home so I just top it up! It carries 3 cups of water in it so I don't really worry.
The one thing I've trying to do is making picking water a habit. So no matter if I grab a peach tea somewhere else I always have a bottle of water with me as well.
My stats are:
16/5 - 6cups
17/5 - 3cups
18/5 - 6cups

Though i drink like 12 glasses a day.
I drink so much, yet I don't pee that much
Once your body is used to it you don't pee as much, it's just at the start you do!
You all got me back in to a good habit of drinking plenty a day again, thanks for that, to all of you!
Seems when I eat healthy I drink far more water course that could be because when I eat healthier foods I keep to my workout schedule and that definitely helps me with my water intake.
I'm so proud of all of you that have struggled with getting in water, it's something I was fortunate enough to love as I grew up with a couple jugs of water in the frig. So when I see some of you struggle at the beginning of the challenge and are now up to 3 cups a day or beyond I know that's HUGE to you all. I'm really proud of you all for hanging in here on the challenge, your body is LOVING you for it!:drinker:
I was logging daily on here but had got back up to my 128 oz. a day so no longer check in each day but do come by to see everyones progress. I'm really proud of you for sticking to the water challenge and in time it will definitely become much easier to build up the habit and keep it up.
I realize for me awareness is the key, keeping track on here made me realize how little or how much I was drinking. I love the group challenges, beats trying to do it alone with out accountability.:blushing: :bigsmile:
