Need help breaking it to her......
Everyday I come to the office there's this beautiful girl I talk with, just chit-chat and bs for a little bit. The problem i'm having is her breath smells like she gargles with sewer water twice before she comes in and I just can't take it anymore.
I want to tell her without offending her or embarrassing her, how do I do this?

Send her tic-tac's0 -
offer her some gum during the convo...I always take that as a hint...0

Are you interested in pursuing her? Or do you want to continue at the status quo [albeit, less odoriferous]?

LOL - You have one of them too!! Well, what I did was act like I was settling in and I opened up a fresh pack of orbitz......Lets just say the person is hooked to it! LOL0
-
I'd leave her a pack of gum with a discreet note....0

I have a few of those people in office and 1 of the reasons is they do not eat breakfast ...it gives the stench of bad breath as it is the acids from the stomach until they eat.
also.... my friends had it bad and come to find out he was a type 2 diabetic and the Dr. said its 1 of the effects0 -
Maybe she's got a cavity...ask her out on a date to the dentist0
-
Yikes!! Show her this picture and say mention how funny it is....it will work

Nope just want to stay at this status.0 -
You can do one of two things:
1 ) Cover her mouth for her, then say "If I can breath out of my nose, so can you."
Or
2) Wear dark sunglasses and pretend you're blind and act like you can't see her face. Then take toilet paper and wipe her mouth. When she asks what you're doing say "Apparently I forgot to wipe my *kitten* this morning, because it sure does stink!"0 -

lol I lke this idea.0 -
I would just leave the gum or mints on her desk with a little note or not when she is not around WAY better then embarassing her bc if she feels that way everytime she sees you or talks to you those thoughts would pop into her head.0

Wonder is she's low carbing it? Those ketones can get nasty!!!0

Stop talking to her then... simple.0

Lol take out a pack of gum, put a piece in your mouth and then offer her one. Don't just randomly be like "do you want some gum"..0
-
Offer her some gum or breath mints....every single day.... On the days she doesn't take one don't sit and chat with her...lol
Maybe after awhile she'll take the hint.0 -

I vote number 2. Make sure you get it on camera too.0 -
Don't tell her, there is no way to do it without completely embarrassing her. Just move on.0

Why offer her tic-tacs or chewing gum? That doesn't fix the issue...I know I come off as too blunt sometimes...but hey keep it real...
Tell her about it...advise her to look into getting to the bottom of it...
Giving her tic-tacs and chewing gum only fixes it when you are around...Set her up to be able to have it fixed for life.
I am just saying0 -
Send her an anonymous care package to the office - tic tacs, mouthwash, breath spray, gum, floss, and a tongue scraper.0
-
Definitely offer her gum or some kind of mint... whenever she comes around. Just partake in it yourself so it doesn't seem like you are doing it in a less than friendly manner.0

We had someone who worked here who's breath smelled like she ate manure for every meal.
HR wouldn't let me put a toothbrush and toothpaste (discreetly mind you) on her desk as a hint so I just happened to pull her name for secret santa one year. I bought her a big thing of mints, thought she'd take the hint. Nope, she proceeded to hand them out to everyone else...didn't use one of them! We also tried the gum tactic but she declined every stinking time. No pun intended. LOL
Thankfully she's not here anymore......but on that note, I just ate some tomatoes, avocados and onions. Time for me to break out the gum! :happy:0 -
Eat some garlic before walk in to work. Lean in real close and say, "Do you have any gum or mints?"0
