Frozen Tilapia...what to do, what to do

Ok i love shellfish, but am not a huge fish fan. I have started trying new foods and Tilapia is on the list of things to try. I have some frozen filets and want to make a healthy dinner with them tonight. What should I do with them?

I dust with Old Bay or Cajun seasoning, then pan "fry" using cooking spray.0

thanks everyone....I tried to Old Bay seasoning and cooking it in a pan.......was good considering i usually don't like fish. Next time i'll have to try that parmesean crusted one!0

Marinate fillets in 3 tblsps olive oil, 6 crushed garlic, juice of one lemon, salt and pepper to taste and broil until fish is white a flakes easily. Serve with salad and pasta with parmesan cheese. Delicious!0

You can steam them with chicken broth and lemon instead of water.0

I take my favorite mustard, dilute it with water, add a bit of hot sauce. I dunk the fillet in the mustard wash, then 'roll' it in seasoned cornmeal minus salt. I put it on a cookie sheet covered in foil and sprayed with oil and bake it at 350-375 until done flipping the fillets after 10 minutes.
About a tablespoon of cornmeal sticks to each fillet.0 -
Red Lobster Nantucket Cod (or Tilapia)
Lots of recipes on the 'net, but essentially:
brush with melted butter (I sometimes skip this if I'm low on cals for the day)
squeeze lemon juice
dust with a mixture of: 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of paprkia, a pinch of cayenne, and a pinch of black pepper
cover with thinly slice tomatoes
sprinkle with parmesean
bake at 425 for 5 mins and then broil until cheese is brown
about 225 cals per serving

Yes, this is what I do most of the time and it's oh so delish!
Sometimes I will combine italian bread crumbs with a 3 cheese shredded blend and use it as a crust and broil or bake. It's an easy and yummy one too. Even the kids like it!0 -
My favorite is to bake, broil or somehow cook the fish filet. The magic happens when you dump some mango salsa and chunks of avocado on top of the cooked fish. Oh I could eat it all day long! (Works well on chicken breasts too.)0

Ok, Help me out here, What is Bump and Old Bay seasoning. I agree with Tilapia. I do not care for fish to much but am willing to try new things.I just have a picky family so can not try to many odd things.0

salt, pepper, garlic powder, tsp of olive oil over med/hi heat in a pan. turn over after about 4 minutes on one side, squeeze a tbs of fresh lemon over it and iet it cook for about 3-4 more minutes. voila

I like tilapia in fish tacos. My kid LOVES tilapia made with the Kraft Fresh Takes chili lime coating mix, it is about the only fish she will eat.0

I broil it in a pan with a teeny bit of butter and parsley, maybe some garlic powder. What I put it over depends -- usually a fresh veggie medley, or pasta if I'm in need of carbs.0

pan "fry" w/ any sort of citrus grill seasoning. or actually grill it, if you have one of those grill baskets.0
