Goals:
160lbs by June 25th (my 22nd birthday)
145lbs by the end of August (for the start of school)
Do the Grouse Grind at least three times (Vancouver REPRESENT)
Run a 5k
Best of luck to everyone!0 -
I would like to loose 15 pounds. I am 3 away from my first goal and 13 away from where my doctor would like me to be. I can do it I know.
I am off for the summer and am walking for an hour each morning plus watching what I eat of course.0 -
I belong to the YMCA and am doing their 100 Days of Summer incentive. It runs Memorial Day thru Labor Day and has prizes for 15 visits, 30 visits & 45 visits. Once you reach 45 visits you get a t-shirt and a chance to win a free membership. It's the small incentives that keep me going. :happy:0
-
What are your workout and eating plans to do that?
My goal is to lose 20 more pounds over the summer, by August 1st
If you look through the posts, I think I posted already. Just know that everyone's body is different and while it may have not worked for everyone, but it may work for me. I am willing to put in the work and work hard, I WILL REACH MY GOAL:happy:0 -
My goal is to swim 1 mile non-stop by Labor Day.0
-
Train (during summer) for my first 5k run/walk this fall
Lose 5lbs each month (June, July, and August)0 -
I would love to shed 40lbs by the end of August. I'm going to be so happy when I lose 100lbs.0
-
Realistic: run 8 miles without stopping.
Not-so-realistic: wear a bikini. (This will probably never happen LOL. I am too scared.)0 -
My first goal is to hit 80 Lbs lost (8lbs away)
To hit 185.
After that I really dont have any "set" goals I have things I wish would happen but really dont want to set myself up for failure either0 -
I'm running a race of 7km where most of it is steep uphill (!) I want to do that without crying and to be proud of myself after it (and of my time). Doing a lot of hill intervals to achieve this goal, hopefully
I wanna wear a crop top! (to the beach. but still. for someone who is mortified by their stomach, this would be huge for me)
I'm also biking this race over the summer, it's 65km. That would be cool to get through the whole race (never raced on a bike before) and to be able to follow a group and not lose my balance or anything dumb like that.
I just want to consistently work out and keep improving really.0 -
Well, it was to be able to play softball on my churches team this summer, but as of right now I can't swing a bat or throw a ball due to a sprained trapezius. So my goal is to look totally different before my brother comes home in September/October. I want to give him something to be proud of me for.0

To lose 12lbs by the 30th June including this weeks weigh in as this is when we go away for a weekend for my sons birthday.
To lose a further 4lbs by 14th June which is when I go to my friends hen party.
To lose a further 6lbs by 4th August which is when I go to my friends wedding.
Added to what I have already lost this will be 33lbs - 2 Stone, 3lbs!
Im really motivated and excited to see how I look when I reach this, it will also be almost halfway to target :-)0 -
My summer vacation starts October 1st (family reunion at Myrtle Beach). I hope to lose 30 pounds between now and then. After that, I want to lose 43 more pounds and start serious weight training at the gym. I just use 30 lb resistance bands right now.0

To get out of the "plus sizes"
This was the best feeling earlier this month I experienced the following when shopping: 1. I shopped in the "regular" section, 2. had to put things back from the dressing room because they were too big! 3. picking out clothes b/c I like them not because they fit
Good luck!0 -
id like to fit into my wedding dress by my daughters 1st bday on 8/160
-
To do the Grouse Grind in under 2 hours. I've done it 3 times and I've always been just over 2 hours. It officially opened today but I won't be doing it for a few more weeks.
Love, love, love the Grind. Get up there soon, the more you do it the faster you will be. I believe muscle memory plays a part in this. Last year I went up sometimes 3 or 4 times a week I started at 1:04 and got down to 46 I think it was. Yesterday I did it in 42:30 hoping to break 40 this year!
Good luck, you can do it0 -

Just reached goal, so to MAINTAIN! Keep working out and toning.
Wooh Congrats on the goal!0 -
Though this is an extended goal, I want to post on here so I will be more accountable to attain it. It is 24 weeks until we fly out for a dream of a lifetime Hawaiian vacation and I want to be down under the 200# mark by that time. This amounts to approximately 27 lbs. and is highly attainable, especially since I began working out with a personal trainer one on one, and will continue with him until that time arrives. Yippeeeeee!
Now as for a summer goal, I am striving to change clothes sizes to the point of needing a totally different wardrobe. I am down 33 pounds from going to weight watchers, and have not quit wearing the same clothes that I was the day I began there. Ugh! Surely it will begin to happen very soon now. I must have been wearing them much, much tighter than I realized, and probably looked like I had been poured into them, God forbid!
Now, they are definitely much less tight fitting and getting loose, but I want them to fall off me loose! I will not have to buy, I can just bring out ones that I outgrew before.

I have a few summer goals:
1. Become a morning workout person
2. Finish Insanity (one month left)
3. Lose another 18-24 pounds by end of August
4. Go rock climbing0
