    I will be in the office until 5:00 today, no early leaving for my position. I do get Monday off though.

    I'm at work because there are only 2 of us in the department and that other ***** got her vacation request in before me. That's ok. I'll screw around enough to make it fun.

    Because I work in a hospital and we never close! :( But I do have a 3 day weekend!!
    I know...how many times have I been asked "Why do you have to work on _(Insert Holiday Here)_?"

    I'm off today. But, I work the weekend as well as Monday.
    I had another 4 day week this week. I get a lot of days off, so there is no worry about 'burning' a day off. I get 33 days plus certain holidays every year...I don't request much time off, so I just get them scheduled off.

    Then again, I WORK when I'm at work, I don't surf MFP message boards.

    Because if I don't work today, no one gets paid. I enter payroll. No me, no money! Plus, it's not a Holiday, Monday is. :glasses:

    I may sneak out of here early though. Hehe!

    Oh man, I was WONDERING why traffic was so light this morning!! Totally forgot it's a holiday weekend!
    ...I wouldn't have requested today off anyway, I'm trying to save up as much leave as I can for the summer! They will probably let us out early today though. :D

    Today is only half a day, and I'm working from home. No sense burning a vacation day when I can work from home for half a day...

    I'm working today because only one person is allowed to take vacation at a time, even though we have a 26 person team. . .

    And I've got the worst migrane today, but can't call in or I won't get paid for Monday.

    I'm at work today because a) I don't get vacation days (I'm an intern) and b) I'm Canadian, so our long weekend was last weekend. :)

    I'm at work. I have nothing to do, my boss is here and most of our membership is on vacation. Kind of a dead boring day and it SUCKS! I seriously could be doing much more at home in preparation for this weekend.


    PRAYING she lets me off early. Not looking good though.

    I'm working today. I work for a school for the deaf and we are open today. But I do have a three-day weekend and am looking forward to that. Plus school will be done soon and it will be quiet here. I am a 12-month secretary and am looking forward to working the summer here as this is my first summer here and it is a great place to work!
