I don't feel like I've given up any foods of any sort, just eat less or none of some not so healthy selections. Since I changed things up, I still have had girl scout cookies (ate the whole box...took me all month instead of one sitting though ), I still have ice cream and cake at parties and I have still lost almost 30 lbs in less than 4 months.
I have given up:
1. cleaning the house as much as I was during the week
2. TV is almost nonexistent unless you count when I watch my Jillian MIchaels DVD.
3. Lots of "fat" clothes :drinker:0 -

3. The uncontrollable impulse to overeat my favorite foods.
I have not given up a food item. Some of them just have a less-frequent place on my plate, or are put there in saner portions.0 -
Why would you give up mahogany?
Because it's denser than pine, of course!0 -

For some foods, a saner portion ends up just being a tease. Like seeing a great mahogany desk, only to discover that it's laminate covered particle board.0 -
