Ladies....shave above the knee or not?
Replies
-
I barely have leg hair to begin with
it is VERY scarce above the knee so I just get my legs and arms waxed every 5 years and I'm good. Probably a rare (and therefore unhelpful) case though, but you asked
Why did I not receive the incredible gene responsible for this!? Anyway, whole leg! Unless I'm in a hurry and I know that above the knee won't be seen in my outfit.0 -
If it's not summer, I only shave what's gonna be seen, and then a little more JUST in case.
But during the summer, I'm hairless anyway so.0 -

I shave as little as possible/needed. I shave my underarms every day since I normally wear tank tops, but my legs are a totally different story.. I normally wear long pants so normally I don't shave my legs at all. rarely I will wear capris or long shorts so I plan ahead the night before and will shave up to where they fall. Then again I'm a single mom with no boyfriend or anything like that (and really no desire to at this time..) so I'm sure it'd be a little different if I were with someone. LOL0

My fur is blonde and I don't have much, but if I'm going to the beach or wearing q shirt I go all the way. My boyfriend called me smoothie0

Hair is filthy- I'm a GUY and I think that.....................!!! Girls should have no hair except for on their heads!!!0
-
i believe women shouldn't have hair growing below the eyelashes. lol. so i shave everything. all the way up my leg and more!
The idea that a woman shouldn't have any hair anywhere comes from porn and reminds me too much of guys who like 'em a bit too young.0 -

I've just got a few blonde fine hairs on my legs. so I don't bother shaving them.0

only 1 out of 10 times. my above the knee hair barely grows and comes in blond so it's not a big deal at all.
This. I have no idea why but my upper leg hair just does not grow. Maybe its because I dont shave it as often but I literally shave it once a month and you can barely even see anything before I shave it again.0 -

because i shave, i'm a little girl? go figure. i'm entitled to my personal opinion of not liking hair. you keep yours the way you like :indifferent:0 -
I shave my pits and from the pubes down.0
-
Ew, why wouldn't you?
.. Seriously, how would that look naked? :P
if he/she focuses more on your half shaved legs than YOUR NAKED BODY…
you're doing it wrong.0 -
I live in the middle east and we aren't allowed to wear anything above the knee so i don't need to - yeah! Luckily though my leg hairs are blonde and fine so i only have to shave 1-2 a month!0

This is an asinine statement. How do you know it comes from porn? Experience? I think not...it was just a rude assumption. Additionally...because I like smooth skin...and the sculptured, sleek lines it brings to mind...I prefer my women 'a bit too young'?
Again, ignorance doesn't even cover it.because i shave, i'm a little girl? go figure. i'm entitled to my personal opinion of not liking hair. you keep yours the way you like
Well said.0 -
I shave to mid thigh
I do this too.0 -
I wear shorts, so I do.
Actually I don't really shave anymore.. I started shaving when I was 13, stopped when I was 16. Then I started waxing, and now I use an epilator. The hair that grows back is very fine and unnoticeable and I only have to use my epilator about once a month. I do shave occasionally if I'm in a hurry though.
I too am hairless below my eyelashes0 -

does it hurt to epilate *there*?! haha, i'm so keen to try but not if it's going to make me want to die! lol0 -
I have really few light, fine, hair that is hardly noticeable. I also do not wear anything other than pants, so I don't even shave my legs!0

I was told never to shave above the knee and I dont
however I have very fine hairs and I NEVER shave - hate the feeling of stuffle
I was or epilate
and only when necessary0 -
No. Because I don't have hair above the knee. And actually, I never got any. I thought it was normal.
Now the only hair I have left is my shins. All the rest disappeared. My mom doesn't have any. She always told me if I kept shaving, I would get more. She didn't shave her legs.0 -
this is an interesting post... I do half way up my thighs regularly and then the full deal when needed. I know many men who shave there legs and some... including my OH... nothing wrong with it.0

Dang, Yall. Keep in mind it was a jes for fun post. No need to get so serious. Everyone's preference is different. No one is right or wrong. I do think that bf/spouse preference prolly play a big part in it as well. Mine is used to my habits, since I have always shaved everything since we met 12 years ago. I think moms prolly influence this to a point as well.0

I agree, and sorry for the derail. I just didn't like the implication that men who like smooth skin, are one step away from pedophiles, nor the attack she made on the other young lady lol.0 -

For some reason i can't stand body hair on women. to me it just looks soo dirty, luckily i only have to shave like once every 4-6 weeks before i even get a tiny bit of hair growing back. In Thailand most of the women don't shave unless hey are up in a high paying job it kind of weirds me out to see a girl in a mini skirt and hairier legs than my brother.0

HATE HATE HATE body hair.
Full legs, full arms, full body . get rid of that ! (besides think of the weight it adds to the scales :P haha)0 -
