Interesting. My plateau busted on a beach vacation. I didn't go over cals, but I walked on the beach a lot, logged it as exercise and ate ALL of my cals - which was a lot more than what I usually eat. After 2 weeks of no loss, no gain, I had lost .5 lb...

I was sort of mystified on HOW exactly this happened... and now it makes sense. Thank you.

"vary your calorie intake between 1,800 and 2,400 calories."

That's alot though - I'm only meant to have 1200 a day as it is?

That 1200 is probably wrong, it is for most people.

Very true! I've learned not to trust MFP calculations- I've gone and used several other calculators on different sites and MFP had me too far below my bmr (which isn't healthy in the long run!)

I'm always shocked when somone posts something trying to help others out by spreading the word with what worked for them and someone else goes out of their way to verbally B**** slap them. Wow! :noway:

This information is posted all over the forum and Jillian Michaels gets credit for it because she's a celeb? Wonder how many buy into her supplement plans too?
