I threw away a 20-year old pair of cycling shorts today. I know people who are not as old as those shorts.

I graduated high school 15 years ago!!!!

The music I grew up listening to is considered oldies

I catch myself saying, " When I was your age........

Hmm. I graduated high school 15 years ago......None of the other two apply to me.

It's the 80's rock music that is played on a "Classic Rock" station here.

People that I went to HS with are now grandparents.

^ This. In my mind's eye when I think of grandparents I think of my old, frail, gray haired grandparents. Not vibrant 45 year olds!!

The BBC is happy to play the Sex Pistols' God Save The Queen which it banned during the Silver Jubilee in 1977 as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 2012.

Ohhh. . . I hate it when I hear something from the 80's on the classic rock station. That wasn't that long ago!!! Was it?

My son graduates high school Sunday. :(

Should I say -- Hopefully my son will be graduating Sunday!

My two eldest graduate this year, too. I feel your pain on both points.

I also hate that my eldest three children were born before the Internet was an everyday thing, not one of the kids know what a rotary phone is - much less how to use one, and they have no clue that there was a time without cellphones.

The other day, I was trying to figure out when my 15 year high school reunion would be, since I skipped the 10 year...only to have it dawn on me I missed that as well, and it won't be too long before my 20 year reunion.

I chaperoned my best friend's class trip with her, at the same school where we met when we were three. And she introduced me to her class by telling them 'we've been friends twice as long as you've been alive'.

The fact that kids starting high school this year were born in 1998.

I was going to put my own suggestion but this one makes me want to put my head in the oven. Which sucks since it's electric.
