This information is posted all over the forum and Jillian Michaels gets credit for it because she's a celeb? Wonder how many buy into her supplement plans too?

I don't buy any supplements (except for a multi-vitamin), but I think she knows what she is talking about. People she has worked with show great results.

This fruit salad is over 700 calories but only like 1 gram of fat, something like 9 protein... there's sugar but it's okay unless you're diabetic.

There's 164g of sugar, wow I can feel my pancreas limbering up at the very thought of it - that's a week's worth for me !

i suspect the actual key in the OP is the bit about calorie creep.

Yeah that's WAY more sugar than you should be getting in one day much less one meal. For weight loss reasons anyways.

I'm always shocked when somone posts something trying to help others out by spreading the word with what worked for them and someone else goes out of their way to verbally B**** slap them. Wow! :noway:
    I agree.
For once, I'd love to see a thread here without negativity. "oh that's a photoshopped image" "oh you shouldn't eat less than blah blah blah."

Sodium has no effect on actual fat loss.

See I don't even eat that many calories to begin with. And there is rarely anything healthy that is more calories for 1 meal..

How can I even do this if I eat smart ones (weight watcher meals)?

I can't buy regular food to cook because I don't have enough money for that..

And my metabolism is wack. My thyroid is bad I take 150 mg of thyroid medication....

and eh. I despise Jillian Micheals 30 day shred.. The only time I lost inches was in level 1.. Then gained them back during level 2.. But lost 10 pounds all together 11 more days til I am finished..

The way I did it was eating a fruit salad every day for 3 days. This was just 1 banana, 1 apple, 1 chopped orange, 1 6 oz cup of Walmart fat free yogurt, and on the first day I had 6 large strawberries (after that MIL ate the rest so... :( I also added some cereal but you don't have to. This fruit salad is over 700 calories but only like 1 gram of fat, something like 9 protein... there's sugar but it's okay unless you're diabetic.

Being the math geek that I am, I did the math and your fruit salad works out to only about 400 calories, including the yogurt. Three pieces of fruit (or 4 with the strawberries) isn't a bad intake over the course of the day, assuming you have no needs to watch your sugar/carbs for diabetes or something.

I eat a varying number of calories daily. I think 1000 one day and 1500 the next day .. it all averages to 1200 /day over 7 days, but I never eat exactly 1200 a day. This is per my nutritionist. She totally busted my plateau and I'm just dropping lbs now and loving it. It works and I still get salt.

I don't drink any caffeine, soda or juices though. I'm pretty low on carbs also.

it is so difficult for me to deal with eating more than 1600 calories! 1600 feels like i'm being a giant pig.
