I also need to get back to reading "The Great Gatsby" by F.Scott Fitzgerald, trying to read some books I have been meaning to for a while but I keep getting sucked into psychology books.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm reading "The Strain" trilogy by Guillermo del Toro (the director of Pan's Labyrinth) & Chuck Hogan. I'm currently on the last book, "The Night Eternal".

I sure was thinking, "Ugh another vampire story?" but I was blown away. These aren't romantic or pretty, in any way. It's a virus that takes over the human host, transforms it into a hideous creature that doesn't have fangs but an entirely different apparatus for feeding. It involves biblical legends, Nazi involvement, and the downfall of the entire planet. It's a disturbing and incredibly enrapturing read.
