Oh dear... I've just blown my sodium intake for the day by eating 2 Jr. Cheeseburger deluxe's from Wendy's ... now what I am going to do.... How many others on MFP are concerned about their sodium intake, and are looking for ways to reduce it?

I wasn't concerned about it until hearing about the water weight it brings. It sounds like an obvious solution, but I think the only good option for a low sodium intake is to stay away from salts when possible.

The good thing is that it is temporary weight. I would not dig my heels to be honest

I'm generally concerned with sodium intake at Dr's advice. I 'm supposed to average 1,500mg a day, but many times is around 2,500. It's not easy by any means.
  • I'm not concerned about the water retention with the sodium... that's easy to get rid off with a good sweat from exercise ;-).... my concern is the high blood pressure it can bring... Yes, I try to avoid eating anything that has high sodium content, but today that didn't happen... :-(

the same goes for cholesterol... just want to avoid it as much as possible.
