Oh also, I choke up during a great performance of the National Anthem (don't know why, it just gets me) and I've heard Garth Brooks "The Dance" at one too many funerals of young people (friends in high school who died in car accidents, etc) and I can NOT hear it without crying and thinking of them.0

This is a song my mom used to sing to us kids. I don't know where it came from, but it was so sad. I got tears just reading it.
Babes in the Woods
One bright summer day
Two children at play
Got lost in the woods
I’ve heard people say
They sighed and they sighed
Till they bitterly cried
And the poor little things
They laid down and died
And when they were dead
The robin so red
Brought strawberry leaves
And over them spread
And sang them a song
All the day long
Poor babes in the woods
Poor babes in the woods0 -
Adele - Make you feel my love
(I was at Red Lobster having dinner with my husband one night and I heard this in the background and had to run to the bathroom so the waiter wouldn't see me crying like a blubbering idiot THEN when I got to the restroom it was playing SO LOUD in there so I stood in the stall telling myself "Calm down idiot!!" until the song was over so I could regain composure.) LOL!
The Cure - Pictures of you
(My favorite band of all time. Favorite song of all time. When I see them in concert or hear this on the radio tears immediately stream down my face.)0 -
Red - Pieces \m/0

AND I forgot 'Play Crack the Sky' by Brand New.... dear god, I love them.0

I don't really tear up, but this one pulls on the heartstrings. The singer died in 2004. It's on one of TSO's Christmas Albums.
Music Box Blues - TSO w/ Diamond Daryl Pediford doing the vocals.
Here's three versions:
Diamond Daryl from the album/DVD

Tribute after his passing, band playing to his recorded vocals:

Performed by Chloe Lowrey & TSO - Give this one to past the 1:30 mark before you give up on it, she's incredible!
