    BADMINTON! RACQUETBALL!
I kick &$/@ in badminton which sounds sissy but is really hard work.
Not so good at Racquetball, but it makes me laugh the entire time I play bc of the fun.

    Depends on the season!
    Winter:
    snowboarding <3

    Summer: (it's free!)
    hiking
    mountain biking

    Fall/Spring
    Indoor rock climbing
    Tennis

Gym in between, zumba, elliptical, etc

Being outdoors and having fun doesn't at all seem like exercising! Hate the gym but I go if I need to especially on rainy blah days. Running is my enemy but I damn will try to make it my friend! >:/

Have you ever noticed that the word "Pilates" looks exactly like the word "Pirates" when you're reading quickly?

Pirate Pilates = contorting into odd positions with a parrot on your shoulder.

now that i could get into

    Badminton. Seriously?

Do you trash talk the other team? ... "Y'all can suck our shuttlecocks!"

Do you have team names like "Badassmintoneers" and "Shuttledeezcocks?"

(Ok, that actually made me laugh out loud.) Haha.

I'm sure everyone on this string would ABSOLUTELY agree that me, in "sexy heels" would be a terrible, terrible thing.

I checked your avatar...imagined you in heels, and got in trouble for laughing too loudly in my office :)

My activites wont't be listed on any fitness site, but big game hunting (actually carrying a heavy firearm and stealthily trekking through the wilderness) and sport fishing ( 200 pound tuna fighting you for it's life) great workouts, tht don't FEEL like workouts

    Cycling (and spinning)
    Walking (only outside though)
    Horsebackriding
    Skiing (both downhill and cross-country)
And if I have to pick a fifth it would probably be Cross fit or kick boxing.
I like anything that makes me so tired that I can't walk/feel like throwing up.

By that measure, watching Sex in the City and anything on Lifetime is great exercise for me. That s**t always makes me throw-up.

I love freestyle dancing as my physical activity. I dance with my kids too. Going for walks on my lunch break at work.

On the other hand, if you put me on a treadmill, I'm ready to throw myself under a bus within 5 minutes.

I felt the same way until I realized our travel dvd player for the car fit into the magazine rack of my treadmill. I started picking out dvd's of TV shows I wanted to catch up on, and my treadmill workout of doom turned into 44 blissful minutes of headphones blocking out the sounds of my kids. Now, that travel dvd player has been replaced with my iPad so I can use Netflix. Some days, when I feel I have no energy for my workout, knowing I get to watch the next episode is the only reason I get on my treadmill. But it gets me on! And that's the point, right?

I used to hate the treadmill also. But I love music and learned to combine the two. As long as I'm listening to a really great playlist and keep my eyes off the timer...I can go forever. I even ran a marathon on the treadmill.

    Free-dancing, also fun.

Surprise calorie burner...House cleaning. You'd be amazed at how many calories you burn just cleaning your house!

Agreed. I would be surprised how many calories I would burn cleaning my house as well.

Just Dance on Wii - I'm super competitive with my sister so the time flies by
Window Shopping - I've gone four hours before and it was constant walking because I kept on looking at everything

Hmm. Can't see me listing "shopping" on my lists of "fun workouts."

Doesn't have to be for clothes, I was computer shopping.
