Mississippi. To the NC poster.... It was part of the old CSA so it is considered the South as is the Real Virginie...... Maybe one day you can join the SEC as well.... LOL>

Hopefully not...my Wolfpack are quite happy with the competition we get here in the ACC, thankyouverymuch.

East Tennessee here, by way of Texas, Florida and Georgia. When I first moved here in 1990, it was difficult to find sweet tea in restaurants, now its fairly common.

My wife's from Florida and was brought up in Georgia and now lives in Texas, and I'm moving out there soon.

Technically southwestern area of Virginia, only 8 miles from the TN line, definitly southern. If you have ever been to the area, you know what I mean.

NC girl here and southern all the way :)
Lived in Tennessee for a little over a year (BTW they did NOT have sweet tea at most places), and moved back to NC.

    What??? No sweet tea? :noway:

OMG it's so funny when we go visit my family up north and my husband asks for sweet tea in a restaurant, and the waitress just gives him this blank dumbfounded look! And then proceeds to bring him a pot of hot tea, and a glass of ice!

If NC isn't considered the south, or is even considered toeing the line, then you've never experienced true NC.
