Every piece of clothing I wore was neon green, pink, or yellow. LOL. I tied my shirt through a plastic shirt holder. My scrunch socks were HUGE.0

To me, the 80's were like the 50's to my parents, and back to the 20's for my grandparents...fun, with fun times!
I don't see the 60's and 70's as the same, and I don't see the 90's and 00's the same. To me, the fun with society is cyclical occurring every 3 decades or so. Too many stresses in between... I see my kids now having the time of their lives in the 10's. Its almost a mirror image.
