I'm tired of "pear shape" hate.

Maybe Hate is too strong of a term, but it's generally not seen as a media type beauty. I'm a bit more pear shape than hour-glass so I use to always feel less than _____ because I didn't fit the "Sterotype", clothes wouldn't fit (hips too big or thighs), the new fad clothing rarely worked for me, and then the women that others talk about as being "Hott", "Beautiful", "Pretty" were never even close to my body type.
Just recently I've been trying to up my body image of myself because what is most commonly shown and said, isn't always all that common nor should it be a deciding factor. Though I would GREATLY appreciate it if there could be a bit more diversity in terms of clothing styles so we could actually fit all body types and all be proud and happy of how we are.0 -

Sadly the only "pear hate" is coming from pear-shaped women who want to be straight up and down. I'm 33-26-38. Nothing I can do about it
Women have hips, Hips don't make you fat.
Are these the same people who obsess over "thigh gaps? LOL christ0 -
Ah, the mental trauma that far too many women allow their silly magazines to inflict upon them, with this fruity body shape *kitten*. :noway:

Well, that didn't take long.
Apples are beautiful too. And bananas, and whatever fruit-shaped metaphor you'd like to come up with. The point of the thread is to stop hating. I guess you missed that subtlety.0 -
