My friends have tried to give me so many nicknames, but they almost never stick. The latest one was Duckie, after the dinosaur on the Land Before Time. The only one that kind of, somewhat stuck was Tobi. That one was given to me by one of my friends on here because when I met him, my default photo was Tobi from Naruto. Other than that, some of my friends call me Mandy (or Mandi) because my name is Amanda, and I have one friend who calls me Manderz. Only she can get by with that, though.

Throughout high school I can count on one hand the # of people who called me Laura...everyone else called me "Bus" because of my maiden name. I had "Bus" engraved on my class ring instead of my initials :)

Saragato - Given to me by my best friends in junior high. It's my name (Sara) merged with the musical term "legato" meaning 'to bring together' since they often said I was the glue to our friendship. Plus I played alto sax at the time so I was a big band geek.

SG - Short version of the above nickname and a common username, Samurai Girl. Since a lot of people had a hard time spelling Saragato right (a lot of "Saratoga"s) it was just shortened to that and carried over to offline as well since I signed my artwork with it.

Mad March Hare/Bunny/Hare - Given by my boyfriend. He likened himself similar to The Mad Hatter and since the Hare is the Hatter's companion I picked up the nickname. He likes to say I have various traits belonging to a hare so that it fits.

    Classic Seinfeld:

GEORGE: Well, Jerry, I been thinkin'. I've gotten as far as I can go with George Costanza.

JERRY: Is this the suicide talk or the nickname talk?

GEORGE: The nickname. George. What is that? It's nothing. It's got no snap, no zip. I need a nickname that makes people light up.

    JERRY: You mean like...Liza!

    GEORGE: But I was thinking...T-bone.

JERRY: But there's no "t" in your name. What about G-bone?

    GEORGE: There's no G-bone.

    JERRY: There's a g-spot.

    GEORGE: That's a myth.

George takes a bite of his sandwich and gets a piece stuck to his chin.

JERRY: T-bone, the ladies are gonna love ya.

"Chalupa Lips" given to me by my dad as a kid. He never said why, I figure it must be because I had big lips as a kid?

"Little Red" I'm a fairly petite girl with a face that blushes like none other so the original nick name was "red" When Junior year rolled around and my classmate saw the truck I drove (a massive bright red yukon) the name changed to "little red" and my truck was dubbed "big red"

A million variations of my last name because it's a pretty fun last name :)

Growing up my dad always called me "Sis" because I was his only daughter (he had three sons before me). And for whatever reason that nickname stuck for years and even some of my friends called me that. But when I moved several states away, the nickname faded.

My dad always called my son "Duder" and it's a nickname I still use today... and he's 24!
