    NSV-my stomach is flatter lol I was doing some squats and I noticed how my stomach doesn't stick out as much.

    I'm in for the new challenge, the chart looks so pretty!

    You ask me to give a challange for this week. I not sure I'm the person to be trying to challange other people when it takes all I have to challange myself. It seems that I have lost all motivation. I was sooo busy looking foward to and getting ready for my daughters wedding that watching what I ate and exercising was just another thing to be checked off on my to do list. Well the wedding is over and it was beautiful but it seems that I have lost the motivation to continue. Maybe now that the wedding is over and not number one on my things to do list I am finding it hard to put me number one on my things to do list. That has never been easy for me. With five kids in ages from 29 to 11 there has always been something more important than me. So as I am writing this I realize my challange to you all is that everyday make yourself number one at least once that day. Take the time to do what you need before anything else. It may be just a couple of min. to take a deep breath and say I am worth it. This week has been rough for me. I think it has finally hit me that my daughter is really married. LOL. Or old enough to be married. I lost an uncle this week and it open my eyes that my own parents are not going to live forever as much as I wish it to be. So this week just love yourself and know "you are worth it.

    I may not end this challange like I wanted to, but I will finish it at whatever weight and know that I tried and I am worth the effort.

    Thank you, it feels great. I haven't been in the 170's since I was pregnant with my oldest over 5 years ago.
    And you've got this, you are probably right about not eating enough and that is why you have been having trouble lately. I hope putting the scale away for a while will help with your outlook on your journey.

    I used my Wii Fit today for added cardio on top of 30 DS and today I weighed in at 197.7lbs. Not an official weigh in but if its still there on Monday then I hit goal a week and a half ahead! O and I didn't believe it either so I did it like 4 times with the board in different places just to be sure, lol.

    I have LOVED reading everyone's NSV's. Such a great challenge filled w/positivity!

    My NSV's:
    -sticking w/this challenge start to finish
    -trying new things (or stuff I haven't done in awhile) like biking, trampoline park, lap swimming again, getting out for walks w/my sister
    -being able to consider that I maybe could do a triathlon someday
    -getting closer to fitting into some of my smaller clothes

    I guess my NSV would be sticking with this challenge even though I gained through most of it. :brokenheart:
    But.....
    I'm doing a few things different and hope to see some results with those few things. I'm making myself eat for one. I never eat more than 3 meals a day and I eat pretty decent sized meals when I do eat. ((not exactly good)) So I'm concentrating on portion control and getting those 5 meals in a day. ((smaller portions))
    Exercise even if it is for 30 minutes a day is a must for me. My thinking before was that if I didn't have time to exercise for at least an hour why do it? I'm trying to re-program my brain to not think like that.
    Drinking 2 ice cold glasses of water BEFORE I eat each meal is a must for me now. I have read TONS of articles about that and they all say the same thing so I'm going for that one for sure.

    These are changes that I believe will be for the better. I'm trying. That is all I can do and hope that those small changes are the ones that surprise me and put me back into the losing streak again.
    I wasn't going to weigh myself for a whole month....but I know how I am with the scale. I decided not to take away the scale for the whole month, but to weigh myself only ONCE a week. My neighbor promised to keep my scale and I would weigh in Thursdays or Fridays instead of the weekends. (where it seems like I'm not as active)

    I really don't know what I would do without Amy, Carole, Shirley, Kristen, and Denise. It is absolutely amazing to me how some people go above and beyond to make someone feel important and like their weight loss efforts matter even more than their own. If it wasn't for their support and compassion I think I would have given up last week and said ya know...it just isn't worth all that. So....THANK YOU....so very much.

    Weighing-in early since I'm going camping for the week-end with my three best friends and won't have access to a computer until Tuesday morning. Camping for me usually means bad food choices and a lot of drinking...:drinker: I'll try to be good this year though. I reallllllllllllly want to reach my goal of 130 pounds next week!

    As for the weekly challenge, here is my NSV: I bought short shorts and I'm gonna rock them this weekend! :glasses: I haven't wore shorts since elementary school, so this is a BIG step for me. I'm so happy, I might wear nothing else all summer :love:

    Edited to add: I'd really like to be a part of the next challenge, too. This challenge has helped me so much. I think, with summer coming up, staying on track is going to be even harder. The challenge and support of y'all would really help me stay accountable.:flowerforyou:

    Also, my NSV is that I bought two new dresses based on my measuremnts...the website listed hem as size 0x or 12. A 12? I've never been a 12 in my adult life! I also managed to talk myself into buying some running skirts, and I think I look cute in them.

    Only 1.1lbs but I'm happy to have any loss at all following the big one from last week. :bigsmile: I'm pretty sure I'm not going to lose 6.5lbs this week so won't make my goal but I'm still happy to be down 17.5lbs since we started. I'm going to see if I can finish strong and end under 220... Don't know if i can but we'll see how that goes!
