    and this one too:

    Fix You by Coldplay

When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
    Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
    Could it be worse?

    Lights will guide you home
    And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
    Just what you're worth

    Lights will guide you home
    And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream down on your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down on your face
    And I...

Tears stream down on your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down on your face
    And I...

    Lights will guide you home
    And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

I Saw Jesus in You by Ron Hamilton

    When I enter Heaven's glory
And I see my Savior's face,
I will offer Him ten thousand years of praise.
Then I'll find that special one
In whose life I saw God's Son,
And thru tears of joy with trembling lips these words I'll say:

    "I saw Jesus in you,
    I saw Jesus in you,
I could hear His voice in the words you said--
    I saw Jesus in you.
In your eyes I saw His care,
I could see His love was there.
    You were faithful,
And I saw Jesus in you."

When I stand before my Father
    To receive my life's reward,
And my soul is bathed in God's eternal day,
When this race on earth is run,
And God sees the works I've done,
More than anything I long to hear my Father say:

    "I saw Jesus in you,
    I saw Jesus in you,
I could hear His voice in the words you said--
    I saw Jesus in you.
In your eyes I saw His care,
I could see His love was there.
    You were faithful,
And I saw Jesus in you."

Elbow - One Day Like This, was to be our first dance at our wedding, but instead was played as my fiance's coffin was being lowered in April

Ed Sheeran - Lego House, just because of the words
Coldplay - In My Place , same reason as above
Paolo Nutini - Growing up Beside You (he used to sing it to me, as we grew up together and were together since we were 13)

    I have another...

"Thank you for giving to the Lord"

My husband and I do a good bit of volunteer work to make sure our church services run smoothly.. (nursery work, sound booth, teaching sunday school classes fellowship committee, etc) and sometimes I get frustrated, thinking that I'm being mistreated, or taken advantage of because of this. One morning I was feeling paticularly "grumpy" about it after my husband had worked at the church all day Saturday, and then there I sat, alone durning service while he ran the sound booth. Then a woman stood up and sung this song and I was flat out convicted. There were tears. I hated that I had let myself feel that way or thought that it was about me.. how awesome it would be to think that someone came to Christ because of something we did to serve.

I dreamed I went to heaven
    And you were there with me;
We walked upon the streets of gold
    Beside the crystal sea.
    We heard the angels singing
    Then someone called your name.
We turned and saw a young man running
And he was smiling as he came.

And he said, "Friend you may not know me now."
And then he said, "But wait,
You used to teach my Sunday School
    When I was only eight.
And every week you would say a prayer
    Before the class would start.
And one day when you said that prayer,
I asked Jesus in my heart."

Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am a life that was changed.
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am so glad you gave.

Then another man stood before you
    And said, "Remember the time
A missionary came to your church
And his pictures made you cry.
    You didn't have much money,
    But you gave it anyway.
Jesus took the gift you gave
And that's why I'm here today."

Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am a life that was changed.
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am so glad you gave.

    One by one they came
Far as the eye could see.
    Each life somehow touched
    By your generosity.
Little things that you had done,
    Sacrifices made,
    Unnoticed on the earth
    In heaven, now proclaimed.

And I know up in heaven
    You're not supposed to cry
    But I am almost sure
There were tears in your eyes.
    As Jesus took your hand
And you stood before the Lord.
He said, "My child, look around you.
    Great is your reward."

Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am a life that was changed.
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am so glad you gave.

Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am a life that was changed.
Thank you for giving to the Lord.
I am so glad you gave.

The one song that gets to me more than anything at this time in my life is Blessings by Laura Story. I helped get me through the death of my grandmother who was my best friend and number one cheerleader.

    "Hold On" by KT Tunstall

It makes me realize I should appreciate what I have when I have it, because I never know when it can be taken away.
