I think the crockpot recipes are my favorite. There is a brown sugar garlic chicken that is really really good , and a parmesan honey pork one as well. Here are the pins: http://pinterest.com/pin/177047829070656791/ http://pinterest.com/pin/177047829070696747/0

So I find myself pinning a LOT of recipes on Pinterest. But I realized two things yesterday. 1) the calorie count in the pin itself is usually WAY off and only an attention getter (example: smoothie with 1 tbsp PB, 1 cup of milk, and other stuff that claimed it was only 50 cals. I wish!). 2) I almost never make ANY food I pin! Healthy or not!
So yesterday I decided to change this, and made these delicious oats/PB/banana bars. 9 servings, 127 cals each (I used simply JIF PB and 2% milk). Filling, delicous, and easy! I'm thinking of using pumpkin puree next time instead of a squashed banana.
So my question: what's YOUR fave pinterest recipe? Healthy recipes always welcome but not required! Everyone has to splurge sometimes

My name is Melissa, and i am a Pinterest Addict.
My recipe board is here....some are healthy, some are not...the ones that aren't, I've modified. I'm recently doing no sugar, no white flour....so that's been a challenge. Anyone who has sugar free recipes for me, please send 'em my way!!
Also, I need friends.

This one of my favs!
Except, I add 8oz grilled chicken breast, only use 1 ear of corn, and sub the veg oil for EVOO. Divided into 2 servings its 514 cals, pretty big serving, and soooo goood!

I know exactly which "50 calorie" shake you are talking about! As soon as I saw the ingredients I knew that thing has at least 300 calories in it. I wonder how many people are eating it a lot thinking it is only 50 calories. People can't be that inept at math, right?
Anyway, I eat a lot of sweet potatoes, so I was excited to find this tip about how to get "guaranteed crispy" sweet potato fries in the oven. I'm going to try it tonight. http://www.theartofdoingstuff.com/guaranteed-crispy-sweet-potato-fries-sriracha-mayo-dip/0 -
I just pinned a recipe yesterday for "cheesy quinoa" (instead of mac & cheese). Haven't tried it yet, but it looks yummy!! I also found one for raw coconut cream pie... I was drooling all over my keyboard..lol.

Crock pot chicken taco chili - very good and easy to make
http://redsie05.blogspot.com/2010/10/ww-crock-pot-chicken-taco-chili.html
I was looking for a pulled pork recipe that didnt have BBQ sauce so I could add it later (so i could measure how much I was having) and found this one. It is very good and relatively healthy as healthy as Pork can be.

After you make this you can use the leftovers to make pulled pork enchiladas, not as healthy because of all the cheese. I use Mission Carb Balance tortillas. They have lots of fiber in them and taste like regular tortillas. My husband Loved both the pulled pork and enchladas especially the sauce for the enchiladas.

I highly recommend all three recipes.0 -
i still dont get how the pinterest website works!
Me neither. I am glad I am not the only one  I have a bookmark folder where all my favorite recipe links are dragged to. I guess I need to get up to date!
Edited to add: Checked it out a bit. OMG, food porn is right, drool
When your surfing for recipes, or anything actually, you can pin the link from the website (or repin from another user) into your boards on Pinterest, then, when you want to pull it up later, all you need to do is open your pin, and click on the picture, it takes you back to the original site it was pulled from, so theres no need to write the recipe or save it in your favs or starred items. You can create different boards, like clothes, or recipes, or household items so they are easy to find when you want to refer back to them again. They even have a "Pin It" button you can add to your toolbar, so when you do find something, all you have to do is click the "Pin It" button and enter it to whatever board you want.0
