I don't care if you're a girl or a guy, I just want an opinion. I've had so many people tell me different things that I'm not really sure what my goal weight should be. I've lost 9lbs and I'm thinking 31 more should do the trick...thoughts?
I'm terrified to do this...

I say aim for your target BMI range, then work on what you think looks/feels good to you.0

I originally thought my goal weight was 120...then 115...then 110. Basically what Im saying is keep working til your happy with what you see in the mirror because its tough to guess what weight you'll look your best at.0

What do you weigh? You don't look like you need to loose any weight. No way 40 pounds. I'd go with weight training.0
-
I think you look good. . .I would go for the toning and not worry about weight. I am in the same spot.0

Opinion alert!
31lbs from where? You gonna cut an arm off? If that was my body...and holy smokes I'd be happy...I'd move to a small cut of my TDEE and start Stronglifts 5X5, New Rules of Lifting for Women or Chalean Extreme. At this point something with weights will take care of any remaining fat loss you'd like to see while giving you firm body.

Agree! Darn! Vegetables are pretty smart!0 -
i'd say no weight. eat at a slight deficit and focus more on doing weights and transforming your body that way

Honey, idk if you can't get 31lbs from anywhere! I think everyone else's advice is good when they say to am for your goal weight. 31lbs may be pushing it though since you've already lost 9 and you're pretty small already.0
-
honestly, I think maybe a stone. maybe less. I would focus on weight training though, and eating at a small deficit, aim to lose 0.5-1 lb a week.
See how you look in a stones time, or stop if you're happy before that, and work from there0 -
You look like you just need to tone up and that's it.0
-
I say none! If anything just work on toning.. Most of us would kill to be your size:/0
-
I definitely don't think 31 lbs should come off of you, you look great already! Like the others, I think you should focus on toning up more than weight loss. Congrats on losing 9 already! With eating right and toning up, you may find you lose enough that you won't have to worry about losing any more. Best of luck! Do what makes you feel good!0

I agree with the vegetable. + weights.0

Here is my opinion... you look good - you just need to tone up what you already have which equals too a mix of cardio and weight lifting - forget about the number on the scale and make your goal to be body fat % (inches loss)...0
-
I would ask your doctor what he/she recommends and on't go more than 10 below it...at least not intentionally. The people who answer lose till you feel good....they are right to a point but don't let yourself get caught in a trap where it is never enough. Plus I agree with the weight training and toning......0
-
Good grief girl! You look great! Focus on weights, you'll tone up and lose inches. The weight on the scale doesn't matter as much as the inches do! Good luck!0
-
maybe a couple more pounds at the most. i'd be happy with where you are. i would work on strength training honestly. but you look good already and don't need to lose 30 pounds!0
-
you are so small! you shoudnt lose any more weight.... go check your height to weight ratio and make sure you are in between the healthy range, if you want to be skinny , you still can have the lowest healthiest weight... and I would just recommend you to eat more and workout more and improve your body structure that way!!! you look really good!!!!!!0
-
oh wow! if I had that body right now, I'd be super happy! lol I would just do some strength training! tighten/tone things up! you will see a difference, and maybe lose some lbs but I don't think 30 would come off either!0
-
WHAT EVER YOU FEEL HAPPY WITH!0
-
I would focus on toning, you don't need to lose anymore weight from what I can see!0
-
We can't tell you how many pounds to lose, you gotta go with what makes you feel good about yourself!0
-
by what i see i say toning what you need light weight training0
