How many of you are preparing for snow today as we are here? Just curious. The first snow of the season is always rather exciting, and I'm never sure if I am ready for the bone chilling cold. Hope everyone is having a blessed Sunday!

we have already had our first snow fall and that was back in late Sept. I would love for some more to come out way however. I want to get a run in tomorrow. I think I will go right after the kids get on the bus. Then lay back down. Its also been cold here but then again I live in MN. he he. My goal will be two mile run with a one mile walk but if a seizure comes on I will cut it down by a little. Or a lot he he.

It has been raining, and rather warm here in NYC. Snow always reminds me of the holidays, so it would be cool to have some.

Today went to the gym and felt pretty good afterwards. It's amazing how the gym really helps tone the body.

I'm going to be watching my eating these next few weeks because it's my last few weeks before I get a break from grad school. I have a few projects to do, and I know I'm going to be stressed.

    Have a good night all!

The scale has not moved but I am feeling good about what I am doing.
Was not a good girl Saturday had 5 Krystals on the way to the casino(hubby won $1000.00), so I know I went over on cals but I did get an hour workout in with my Wii fit plus. I am going to take a walk at lunch in my new shoes today so hopefully that will help kick start things again:drinker:

    Good morning beautiful blues,

This morning I got off to a good start, and headed off to the gym. It's funny how I dread going, but once I'm there I get really into it. Now, I just have to watch what I eat.

I can't believe thanksgiving is almost here!

    Have a good day everyone!

Hello all. Scale didn't budge for me either. I had a big loss last week so I'm not too surprised. I'm not gonna beat myself up over it because I did my best this week and that's all I can ask for. I am feeling really good and enjoying my workouts.

smadag1 - congrats on the hubby's big win $$$$$

almomay - good for you to get up early and to the gym first thing. Now its out of your way for the whole day.

j_g4ever - those pop's do sound good! For me, I make a low cal sundae as I call them - few scopes of frozen fat free cool whip and a couple of tablespoons of sugar free chocolate syrup.

Spin class tonight! Let's start off this week well! Go Blues!

I lost almost two pounds this week. Unfortunately I had the flu all weekend. I did work hard last week before it hit so I will give myself that. Just means I have to make sure I work even harder this week so I don't slide back up.
Next week will be my biggest challenge. My company (for the Thanksgiving holiday) starts arriving on Monday. It is oh so tempting to eat too much of all the wrong stuff when you have all the friends and family here. They stay until Sunday. That will make that Monday's weigh in a challenge. It is what I need though!!

Quick check in - will read thru posts later - really busy at work....

even for me this week ---after the beach I am pretty happy with that.

Yesterday, slept thru church....after my 4 classes on Saturday I was wiped...but woke up feeling pretty darn good (til I scratched my back and realized my muscles were sore to the touch  ) - what a weekend after 7.5 mile run(6)/walk(1.5) on Friday then the 4 hours of classes my body acutally felt good....shows how much stronger my body is getting pretty darn cool!

    This week.....

Tonight - 1 hour strength, 1 hour step
Tuesday - 2 mile easy run
    Wednesday - 5 mile run
Thursday Strength, 20 minutes - elliptical
Friday - ?? Not sure yet
    Saturday - 7 mile run
    Sunday - rest

    Good morning blues!!

I had no change in the scale either BUT I've also never weighed 145 on a Monday morning either!! I'm thinking that by Wednesday, if I can continue with this momentum, I'll have a great weigh in & hopefully I can carry it through the weekend & on into next Monday's official weigh in! This Monday morning weigh in may do us all well!!

I had a great step & tone class today! Yesterday I did my Wii EA Active. I had't done that in a long while & found it to be not only a great workout but lots of fun too!

Keep doing what you're doing blues!

    We can do it!

    Happy Monday Weigh-in. :flowerforyou:

I am down 1 lb., and now am at 237. After a little over a month fluctuating a couple pounds here and there but never dropping below 238 ... it is a-w-e-s-o-m-e.

Can't wait for Biggest Loser tomorrow night!

Seems everyone had a great weekend. It was a crazy one for me--I realized that if I quit my job by the end of the month I would qualify for $4000 more in my pension than I would in December or the first of the year. So I turned in my two week notice today. The amount I have been working makes that $4000 worth about 4-5 months or more of my gross pay. I am a little dumbfounded that I actually did it. Even though I have been planning it for about a year.

Thanks for sending all of your weights to me so early. I am going to exercise, finally, and then get the chart up later today. Have a great one--eat healthy! The sweets sure got to me this weekend. I didn't counteract them with enough vegies apparently!!:noway:

Sounds like everyone is very motivated, and I am happy for all. I just had to jump on here and say that my ticker finally moved in the right direction! It only moved one pound, but that is the first time since October 5th that it has done that, and I am thrilled! Goodbye weight from being sick, I am now officially back on track!

    Here's to smart choices! Mary

I did this rock and roll stepper and burned some more calories for a total today of 509. I'm so happy. I think i could have ran more tonight but kids and homework and conferences come first. I will go for another jog tomorrow afternoon. Maybe I can make it two miles one walking and one running we will see. I would like my goal to be running two and walking one mile.

Great job everyone on your hard work.

Well I just read that oneof the teams are not going to post until tomorrow evening.
They are waiting for others to send in their weigh ins.

Something should be straightened out to make it more interesting.
I'm sure all of us would like to use tomorrow's weight (since other teams will be).

I was thinking the same thing. I asked them the question. The response was... weigh in on Monday, post chart on Tuesdays. So I think we are ok. I guess it give people more time to send in their weight.

    MOrnin all

hubby came home and told me he bought me an ab circle pro with some of his winnings at the casino. He is very opptomistic that it will help me with my abs since I have a hard time doing crunches on the floor. Lets hope it works as well as it says it does

Going back to bed as I was up till about 1am again. I wonderful sometime how I can get so much more done at night than during the day. But hey it works for me. Still getting my workouts in and all my sleep. I love that the kids are in school.

    Hi beautiful blues,

I think my TOM is coming soon because I feel bloated, but I've read that it's common to have slow weight loss during this time because of water weight. Hopefully afterwards, the weight will start coming off.

This morning didn't get to the gym because I have a project due tonight for school. I'll try to hand in the project as soon as I can and see if I can squeeze in exercise. Whenever I'm up studying I need to eat regularly for brain energy.

    Have a good day all.

Here is the new board. I was quite preoccupied yesterday. I didn't do much of anything. :blushing: I was lucky to get in the shred. It is all good though. I am really glad that I am going to be able to be home for good. I will miss work a little bit, but I won't miss having to go. It was never good timing. I certainly won't miss having to work nights and holidays!!
