I went to a show over the weekend. Was going through the line, and get to the front. Give the guy a ticket and he goes to put the wristband on my wrist
"Whoa bro, can your wrists be any be bigger bro?"
I wanted to slap the taste out his mouth.

So ya got big wrists?.... :indifferent:0

"Could your mouth?"
"Yeah, I work out."
"You know what they say about a guy with big wrists."0 -
"Yea, no kidding. Your mom thinks they could be bigger, though."0
-
You should have said "yeah but they're so much smaller than my richard"!0
-
I would say ....how rude are you? or ...could you be any more rude than you already are?0
-
Ehhhhh. No response required.
Big wrists. Big hands. It's all good !!0 -
"Yea, no kidding. Your mom thinks they could be bigger, though."
Damnt lol, I wish I would have said that.0 -
I only have two words: Manager. Now.
People in customer service should know better than to comment on appearance. I say this as someone who worked her way through university by working in a grocery store.0 -
I woulda said "you should see my Pen1s"0

Nah it was a metal show, I would have been ran outta the place saying that0 -
"Whoa bro, can your wrists be any be bigger bro?"
My response would have been something along the lines of "the last guy I punched, I felt nothing thanks to these big wrists"0 -
It's not that bad,
once in a gym shower a dude propositioned me :mad:0 -
Huh? I was going to say at first not to be offended because lots of girls have big wrists, but youre a guy. Arent you supposed to LIKE big wrists? haha0

I don't understand why you're posting a topic about this?0

Honestly man, at times when somebody's being rude and you can't find time/need/desire to be witty just go with the simple "Go F*** your mother". No need to tip-toe around folks like these0

"Yea, no kidding. Your mom thinks they could be bigger, though."
Yes this is the response!0 -
"Could your mouth?"
"Yeah, I work out."

on a side note, when short people comment on my height in a way that seems unflattering, sometimes I'll act surprised...

Yeah I had that at a show when I was 19. Not only did the guy have to make a huge deal out of me being a minor (they had different colors for minors and people 21+ since the place served) but he acted like it was a grand struggle to get the thing on me. And yes I have big wrists naturally, not just because I'm fat.
Either way it's a pick your battle thing. You can either ignore it or, like me, make a sarcastic biting remark in return and walk off knowing they can't come after you. Some people want to make a huge deal out of things like weight, height, gender, and race for no reason. You can get offended all you want but showing it just feeds them. "Oh I said something and they're mad/upset/crying. It is as big a deal as my bucktoothed daddy said!"0 -

Petty functionary with a clipboard.
I don't think he meant anything by it. We're all built differently. I have narrow wrists no matter how big or small my forearms get. It just means that I wear a different watch size.
But if anyone calls them dainty, that person is getting roundhouse kicked in the head.0 -
