Lose 5 Pounds in July Challenge

This challenge is to give us a target, motivate, encourage and celebrate our achievements on our journey to health. Originally started by tcasmey (who can resume leadership when she returns to MFP), this is an open group to all.
Here's how it works:
1. Sign on that you are participating in the challenge, give your stats, weigh in dates. If you post - you are IN!!
2. Come back on each weigh in date and let us know how you are doing. Even if it is not a positive week, let us know so we can encourage you.
3. If the post fills up, go to the last post and it will have a link to the automatic continuation.
4. Let us know one of the following: What did you learn about yourself, what is your next goal and/or what was your best NSV (non scale victory).

UTG: Thanks for posting this thread. I need some extra motivation. I had a baby in May and I need to shed these pounds. I just found out I can not eat any wheat products, so I am having a hard time with that. My ultimate goal is 130 lbs BUT I have not been there in a very long time I will be happy if I hit 140, which is a little more realistic for me! THANK YOU!
